I will argue that all day. I know about 50 people that have this game and only one other has any sort of decent stub balance. Not to mention how many kids have this game and play it casually ( my son has a copy, he is always scraping stubs to buy cards). I would argue way less than 5%. Keep in mind, people in this formula are the crazies ( myself included), most people are not like us.

Around here we were all out of a job for 2 and a half months. We are all adults as well. I just see how bad one of them is at the game and he has made millions. More than me. The game gives you all the stubs you need... Its only up to you to manage it. We also profited big off of weekly roster updates. We had a chat specifically for it.

That’s awesome. My son just turned 10, and he is an unreal hitter in this game. Guess it’s the youth Reflexes. When i pitch and he hits, we can hang with almost anyone. But he doesn’t really understand the nuances of pitching yet and I am a mediocre hitter at best. But like you, I have worked the market and have more stubs than I can spend and this is after buying everyone basically in the game

Any BR card that drops now for the near future is clogged behind alternate accounts that hoard stubs and don't play games.

I am one of those guys that put in a million dollar bid. I have been trying to buy Billy Wagner for weeks now. There is just a limited supply. I would actually buy him for 2 million if I could.
Your theory of proxy bids to stash a million makes no sense because you get hit with a 10% tax. No one would do what you're suggesting because they would be losing 100K. The guys that have millions didn't get their millions by being stupid.
The true answer is that people have money and they want Wagner. I literally have everyone else and I'm bored. I have 5 million in stubbs. Why not?

The orders are real. Stub transfers happen when someone buys low and the transfers to someone who buys it much higher. Stubs are so easy to come by this year I make 2m each week just flipping and investing. I own every card except for the new RIB and TN cards. I would suggest that if you want a rare BR card that you get in line. Everything will keep going through the roof and I don’t think it will come back till 2021 is released.

Yep, average of 2-3 are sold a day, so about a month wait as of now.

I can easily see 40 people having buy orders in on Wagner... Most people if they play all year and hit prestige early have stubs... I have 2mil and nothing to buy, And if you’re a competitive player, why wouldn’t you have Wagner...

Feller keeps going up, and with no way of replenishing the supply, do we think he will hit 1 mil at some point? I know it's different positions with demand being higher for a reliever. I am debating whether to spend over 800k on a starter.

I proved my point on stub transfers happening everytime a new BR card hits the market. There's always a page or two of a buy and sell with the same time stamp, 15 different times in a row, within an hour.
If there are 39 people wanting a 1m lefty upgrade to the card they already have, more power to them. It's not a supply and demand thing. On the 20th and 21st, many orders filled below a million.
You know why that is? Because people with 11-0 runs will hold off with the 12th game because they know a new card(s) will be released. Which means more stubs. Done that all the time last year, and so all those guys who have an 11-0 run active and win their 12th game right after the cards go live, they will be on the market.
Alomar was there too dude.
I know guys hold. But when there are zero orders to buy at a million and then magically a 1m buy and sell, it's a transfer. I would know. I was watching Wagner real time since the card dropped.
That still proves nothing. A buddy of mine who's active on this forum as well paid 1M for Alomar, admitting he knew was overpaying way too much but he didn't care because he's a big Alomar fan and he has stubs to burn like everyone else.
850k actually. He was worth it too, been solid. I could have brought Wagner as well, I’d spun up a couple mil flipping, but I passed on him because he was 1m and I didn’t do especially well with his 94. People tend to sit fastball and crush it, which isn’t really ideal. I grabbed Sale, Mantle, Biggio, Sheffield and Trout for slightly more than the price of Wagner, so it wasn’t a hard choice.

We’ll see about that! They should make a BR mode where you play actual baseball, instead of shippet HR derby. That would be fun.
