4 k's and 5 hits in 7ip? So those numbers cannot change. 2bb in 7 ip so you dont want that number to change. What should they change?

Ryu deserves diamond status just as much as the next guy, but unfortunately SDS hates contact pitchers and the Blue Jays, so it won’t be happening anytime soon...

Lol, sorry man. But I was serious about the attributes. I havent really paid much attention to him this year. So I dont really know if hes playing under what he should be or not. I do like the Blue jays though and their younger players.
And I am already a high diamond on the attitude attributes. Good and bad, just depends.

Sorry, I'm just being a jackass. Realistically, clutch could use an upgrade, he's been great with RISP (hence the low ERA but high-ish H/9.) K/9 could use a big upgrade too. He's got 70 K/9 in game but is striking out over 10 batter per 9 innings this year. HR/9 is shockingly low in game at 59, but he's given up just 0.9 HR/9 IRL this year. To be honest I have no idea why he started the year as a gold in the first place. In the past 3 years he's been just about as dominate as anybody. His ERA over the last 3 years is 2.35 with a 176 ERA+.

Kinda reminds me of how Dallas Keuchel was. Is that a fair comparison? Didnt strike a bunch of guys out, but just got people out, consistently. And even winning a Cy Young couldnt give him diamond for long because in game attributes dont match up to real life.
Hell I just looked up Dallas Keuchels numbers this year and they are great 6-2 1.99 ERA 1.09 WHIP. But he dont strike guys out so, SILVER for you. lol Actually better than Ryu and he is a gold at least.
BTW investment alert guys if you want almost a lock for a gold. DK

Yeah, it is tough to translate from real life to in-game. The worst part about it is the subjectivity of roster updates. If the guys at SDS wanted to make Ryu (or Kuechel for that matter) a diamond, there are plenty of things to be done, such as boosting HR/9 or clutch. Unfortunately these kinds of pitchers rarely win popularity contests.
Oh well, it's in SDS's hands now. Obviously I hope they give Ryu the well-deserved boost.

The roster updates this year are horrendous. I mean they downgraded MVP candidate Jose Ramirez to a gold while Javier Baez and his 54 OPS+ and 52 WRC+ is still a diamond.
-
I’ve been stocking up on Ryu. They gotta give it to him eventually.
I still think the one of biggest crimes is Tim Anderson being rated worse than his LS last year, despite improving everywhere greatly. You’d think Albies would get that jump with the month he is having too.
Salvador Perez.
Nick Anderson.
Jose Iglesias is hitting .373 this year! Not a diamond maybe, but he’s only an 80.
The list goes on. It’s a weird year for roster updates.
