Thoughts on Run it Back program coming Friday?

I think it will be like Babe Ruth, and you will need to collect ALL of these cards in the pack, to get someone good like Griffey or someone like that.

Appreciate the content, but based off what ive seen announced so far in terms of cards....i dont think any one of them would sniff a spot on my squad at this point. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised though.

On my radar as well. I haven't played in 14 days due to family stuff, kids elearning from home, etc that take precedence. I should be able to get back on and play starting Thursday, but have August POTM program, Extreme Program, Topps Now moments to do.

I can’t wait for the epic market crash now that I sold all my non locked in diamonds. I’m going to buy back the cards I actually use regularly, buy any of the new cards I want to try and hopefully have enough left over to splurge on a WS or BR reward card for my god squad

Itll be a mix of an easier version of Extreme Program and the POTM Tatis program
It'll have Conquest And Showdown(like Extreme) and a collection , and have these Run It Back packs littered throughout (like POTM Tatis program.

I agree that it would be hard to get anyone in the lineup now. Just got Cobb, and should have the Trout soon. I just jettisoned newly pulled SS Helton for Cobb anyway!

It's an arena like the Fabulous Forum in LA or the Felt Forum.

It doesn’t explicitly say it’s a program though. There’s a map, and a showdown, but there’s a player program for the 8th inning, not exactly a new program.

His stamina is really low @ 25. He used to pitch 2-4 in long relief back in the day. I don't know why they have his stamina so slow? kinda useless since you will only be able to use him 1 inning. He needs to have 35-40 stamina imo.

This will not be program as any program that has come out has been noted as a program (fathers day, players leauge, extreme, all timers) this will be a conquest map and a showdown that will reward the run it back pack at its conclusion.
This pack is ot ment to be end game in anyway and SDS knows this. This pack is to help fill out collections and work towards Trout. This pack is the replacement for the legends and flashback pack from last year. That packs best reward was an 89 Edwin Diaz and its worst was an 80 Marcus Stroman.
I am unsure of the teir levels if it will have any at all. This pack will be a new reward included in conquest, showdown and inning programs moving forward.
The dumbest thing I continue to read is that none of these cards make my lineup of course not you have 9 positions to fill so 99% of the cards in the game dont make your line up but that doesn't mean these cards arent useful. There are alot of new players that still come into this game including those that may have picked up the show via double discount and these cards help get them started. These cards also help towards Trout, yes many of us on here have him but those of us that post and interact on here make up about 2% of the player base so there are alot of players still working towards the collections.
