What can we expect a 99 Overall Nolan Arenado to look like?
-
Let's see who can get it the most accurate for when this card inevitably comes out. Whether it's a Finest or an Awards (shouldn't be Finest imo), just for fun to see who gets it the most accurate. I'd base this on 2019, his best statistical season.

My guess

All I know is that his speed will definitely be lower than 50.

60 was a stretch I admit.

They're going to re-release his silver rookie card again just to mess with Rockies fans.

Nolan isn't getting a Finest this year....wtf Rockies games have you been watching? Dude is crapping the bed
He's also been hurt. Also he's been the teams best player since he came on, and frankly aside from Trevor, Freeland, Almonte, and Senza nobody else really deserves it.
Rockies Finest should be a pitcher this year for sure.

I suspect he'll be 6'2" and weigh about 215lbs. Just a hunch though.
-
Definitely depends on the year. 2019 his splits will be closer. But if it is 2018, lefty numbers will be far greater than righty. And yes, much slower.

I don't think its 2018. He had his best offensive year swinging almost identical numbers between LHP and RHP in 2019 with OPS at .962. His next best year came in 2017, with an OPS at .958, very close, but the 2017 season would have the standard splits vs 2019 being mostly evem, so it will be interesting to see which version we get.

He was mid tier last year for finest right? I remember him going for about 35/40k when finest first droped. Not sure what a Awards card would go for but if Kemp was 160k earlier this year then i don't want to bet against Arenado beign expensive.

Kemp was a top 2 OF when he dropped and his price reflected it. Arenado will be good but idk if he'll even be the best 3b when he drops. He's a lot like Schmidt to me with good defense and a long swing. 99 Chipper will no doubt be a better pick and I can't see Arenado being a huge upgrade over even Brett or Donaldson (expensive af tho).

I think he was actually in the rare tier along with Lindor and Marte

Yes he was the rare tier my bad, right before the top 3 elite cards.

Those are very good points, i guess i'm just trying to soften the blow for myself if he is expensive, don't get me wrong i would love to be able to aford a 99 Arenado , missing out on Donaldson (to expensive for me this year) hurts a bit because he's my end game 3rd basemen but if we get a good Arenado for a reasonable price he may end up being my end game 3rd basemen (if it's not Chipper of course)
-
maybe he will be in the elite round for run it back packs? I can see Arenado, Betts, Fergie being in the elite round. We will find out today when they post more reveals.
