DH Setting for Playing vs. CPU, Please!

As a fan of an AL team, I would love the option to set games against the CPU to American League rules. Mainly the rule that permits the use of a Designated Hitter (DH). The option is there in RTTS, where you can select whether or not the DH rule is used, so why not DD games versus the computer?
Of course, this setting would not be possible in online games with other players, as that would mess up a lot of things. But could this setting at least be available in offline modes, like play vs. CPU and conquest?

I wholeheartedly agree. We have too many great hitters sitting on the bench, besides the DH is a part of baseball.

I agree. I dont typically play offline but I dont see why it wouldn't be an option in an offline game. Online though, I say keep the DH out, but offline I don't see a problem with it.

I want everything to be dh only, why do we have still pitchers hitting but they implemented the new roster sizes and 3 batter minimums?

I imagine we'll see DH's in DD if not next year then the following. The CBA gets renewed after next season and I think the DH is here to stay in the NL.
