After a few attempts, I’ve reached the second to last boss, Chris Sale. His funky wind up on HOF scares me a bit. Is it worth skipping him? I’ve gone with the approach of taking until I get two strikes on me, and it’s worked well with the first four (hunter, luzardo, Scherzer, and Hoffman). Has this strategy worked against sale for anyone else? Or is 13 runs in 30 outs against Pearson manageable if I skip sale. Thanks in advance!

I thought the same thing when I was in your position. Honestly just get in there with confidence and win. I personally think its best to have the extra runs going into the last showdown. I found that Pearson was much easier to read than Sale

I got Sale too! I want to face Pearson on HOF using Extreme Moments to practice hitting against him. Then, I'm skipping Sale ang go straight to Pearson.

I faced sale, scored the runs needed quickly. Go in right handed heavy and just be patient

You’re wasting your time doing all that. I completed the first boss only to get that extra gold hitter. Get as many lefty’s as you can and skip the Pearson.

I debated skipping him, went ahead and played and won in last at bat...than cruised thru Pearson with 14 outs remaining....Sale was harder to square up for me...

Update: I beat sale on my last out. Did decent against Pearson. I got it 20-20 with 5 outs left and the winning run at second. I didn’t score him and I am dead inside now

Sorry man, it’s a brutal feeling to fall short like that and know you have to start it all over....I failed first time against him but best with with 12 plus outs left second time.

I'm an average/below-average player. I thought "Lets give Pearson a try without any of the earlier moments." I was had runs totaling in the teens by the time I lost - some bad swings cost me big.

I'd suggest skipping to the end once you see a boss that might give you the slightest trouble.

These posts make me realize my path of catfish, luzardo, scherzer, feller, CP smoltz before pearson was pretty easy

I'm an offline player, for the most part, only. I do play on all star and above. Plate discipline is good. I just cleared it first time through. I skipped Feller on HOF as I didn't think I could pick up on him. I needed 13 runs to beat it. I did so with 8 outs remaining. If I can clear it, so can anyone else.

For sure, it definitely hurts, but at least I was right there. I think if I had another lefty bat or two I could have done it. But congrats on getting it, hopefully my second run at Pearson is as successful as yours!
