I haven't completed a showdown since the first "starter showdown" in the first week the game came out! I have tried a few of the other showdowns throughout the past several months but have failed each time.
Last night, I jumped into the showdown extreme. I made it through the first three levels pretty easily. Today, I did the fourth one and faced Sig Chapman and his 102 mph fastballs. I struggled a bit, but I still managed to get it down with 11 outs remaining!
I'm thinking of skipping Sale and go straight to Pearson! I will need 13 runs in less than 30 outs. Seems absolutely doable, but pretty scared of that 70-something curveball mixed in with his 102 mph fastball! Especially with this one being on HOF level!
I need to take a break before I go after it!!!!

I haven’t done it yet, almost done with the conquest then I’ll dive in.
From past experiences with vs CPU Pearson, just spit on all off-speed, it’s hardly ever a strike unless he hangs that slider. Sit high fastball. Should be a breeze! Good luck -

Just thought about this....I should play the "God Squad" in Extreme Moments to practice and see 99 Pearson before facing him in Extreme Showdown!

I thought they said final Showdown was on All-Star. Is it HoF?

You should be able to get 3 runs against Chapman. Work the count and drain his stamina. Pearson isn't as tough as you think. For me, he threw his fastball about 75% of the time and he threw it for strikes about 50% of the time. Just look for the pitch and take pitches. I finished with about 12 outs left to play.

First 2 rounds are Vet, next 2 are AS, last 2 are HOF

I needed 9 runs against Chapman (Round 4) and I did that. I would have to get 3 runs against 99 Sale for round 5 in less than 14 outs on HOF. I would get an addition 3 runs for the final showdown and a prestige player. I think I'd rather skip and give those rewards than risk than running into some stupid BS and end my run short of the final showdown. The final showdown having 30 outs will hopefully be enough for 13 runs!

I love conquest so it’s exactly what I was looking for this time of year. Good way to try out cards and practice. Very worth it.
I’m saving the truck load of packs for the end but even with bad pack luck it’d be a nice chunk of stubs and XP.

In my opinion this was the best conquest map yet, took me 2 days to complete and i still have to beat each team in 2 turns except for the White Sox but i made well over 200k from it (finally pulled Scherzer), can't wait until Fridays conquest map.
