Drop this mode, put in more stuff in franchise

Guys I’m personally offended but the years and years of ignorance by the team by ignoring franchise mode. There is so many more things you can do but you keep going for the money grab of these card games. Can we do something to actually spend some time doing real development. Even when they tried to discuss franchise Ramone was quickly dismissive of the mode. It’s all about buying packs to these guys . I don’t care and nothing will change on this. Do some serious work on franchise.

I mean if you are offend on a personal level about a game mode and its updates or the lack there of then I would suggest it might be time to move on as things will never improve at this point.

Franchise mode is head an shoulders above other ones in other series. Sure they can make it better, but they are definately ignoring it for DD.

this is such a dumb take. DD makes way too much money for them to scrap and although i love me some franchise its not where the money is. i would appreciate if they gave franchise more love but i understand how they do things and am still super pumped for DD

However, there’s no reason for you to be personally offended over something that has nothing to do with you personally.

Most of the packs and stuff has NOTHING to do with purchase and EVERYTHING to do with playing so I totally disagree.

Not only that I’m PUMPED about packs and content. I’m playing the life out of this game and I’m prob gonna drop a few hundo because I can....but you really don’t have to.

Out of the Park Baseball has far and away the best baseball franchise mode, yet all the die hard MLB: The Show franchise fans ignore it because it doesn't have pretty graphics

Next year is going to be the year they revamp Franchise. It's also going to be the year Online Franchise returns. Bet.

They can add things to franchise without dropping anything. lol

I think they'll add some things like a blank stadium that can be edited(logos, grass, scoreboard, seats), maybe something added to relocation.

It isnt on PS4. I play OOTP. I was comparing it to other games available on console, not a Manager type game.

Full minor league rosters and team relocation? its small but for an obsolete mode for the minority of the player base, it’s a w.

There is literally no reason at all to buy packs in MLB The Show, there are so many ways to obtain good cards for free by just playing the game. That alone dismisses your argument that it's all about packs and money for them.

So let's say I run a business...
Product 1: staple of my business. People love it and it does a great job selling for me. Upside? Not much but it's something really solid and even if I don't invest a ton in advertising or improving the product it's going to sell. If I put a ton of resources into the product I'm going to have limited growth.
Product 2: new product with huge upside for profits. The more I put into this product the more I am likely to get back in way of revenue/profits.
There's no logical argument you can make against DD

Yeah, I hate when people tell me to play OOTP. It is a manager mode only game, I have never cared for or enjoyed manager mode. Sort of a tease really. Here is this great team, but you cant play in the game. If I could hit or pitch, then I'd be a OOTP guy, even if the graphics looked like NES. To me its about the same as telling a DD guy to just go and buy a box of Topps trading cards and rip packs to try and build the best team possible.
