Wait, does this mean that MLB The show will be $70? Will the base price for games go from 60 to 70? Also, funny picture.

I'm pretty sure it's 70$ for the PS5 party games. https://press-start.com.au/news/playstation/2020/09/17/first-party-ps5-launch-titles/ Pretty sure MLB 2021 is going to go for more then 70$ but i would be very happy if so.

I’m not really that upset about the games being more expensive. Video Games have literally been $60 for 20 years so there was bound to be a price increase eventually

I remember considering a game to be expensive if it was 40/50$ lol.

Exactly the reason I won't own a digital only console. I'm not paying $70 for a game released a year ago.

@Ikasnu agreed. WHEN I buy the PS5, I will be getting the disc version. Then I can sell the games to other people later, and get the new one.

I have both the digital and the disk version this year but i normally only end up buying the disk version (hard copy is the way to go) i'm old school though and i still collect movies in hard copy form.

I'd rather have a working blu ray player in a ps4 then give one up completly.

I prefer to have the physical copy to anything on netflix or a streaming site.

I've gained quite the blue ray collection over the years through gifts or through bundles. Jurassic World + the original 3 JP's? For $15? Shove that right into my dark dry plump pocket.
