What I was waiting for finally.
-
Just finished the stream. This is what I was waiting for to decide if I'm preordering.
Now just to decide if I want the MVP version or the Digital Deluxe version.
-
I was in the same boat. I went Digital Deluxe. I should easily get hundreds of hours of enjoyment out of the game so even $100 seems like a bargain.

What is it you guys were waiting for exactly?

I wanted to see if they brought back the XP Path and Inning Programs.
Since I started late, I'm limitied with obtaining certain cards (Gold Tony Perez and Gold Dee Gordon) unless I want to pay premium prices.
This way I know what I'm getting into and what I have to do to compete/obtain early players.
Even though these new rewards arent timed, if I would jump in say around Oct; I'd be up a creek without a paddle, so to speak.

I wanted to see the actual content of DD. I wanted to know exactly what Showdown was. If DD had turned out to simply be a rehash of last year then I would have passed on it, but expanded Team affinities, evolution cards, Showdown and other tidbits convinced me that there were more things to do this year.

Curious to see how much it costs to play Showdown and if there will be MULTIPLE Showdowns for each Inning Program.
IE: once you complete a run, and get your Stars, can you play another one that inning for more stars?

Might be like Moments, where there are some attached to the Inning programs and others that are stand-alone. My guess would be that it cost the same as Battle Royale.

Both of those were early Event rewards. Don't know how to break it to you, but I have a feeling there's going to be early Event rewards again this year.

I know. That's one of the reasons I preordered.
Was going to wait until the game went on sale; but I don't want to lose out of any early rewards.
Plus, it looks like they may bring back a Honus type collection. Not sure how it will work though without being able to quick sale collected cards.

Am I the only one that feels there are too many game modes? I know people will defend this but am I right that there isn’t anyway to get every kind of reward for every mode. In more of a casual player. I don’t enjoy endless games against cpu. I didn’t play March to October at all. I don’t usually total more than 100 games played. That’s a low amount to the 386 wins and 350 losses I commonly see. I enjoyed the game more when It was just the 1 conquest map vs how ever many there was this year. I didn’t get too far in moments. Once it went from an at bat or 2 to win 5 games without giving up 2 runs etc. so am I the only one that feels this way?

I think your issue is, you see content and feel like you have to do everything, so you feel dissatisfied when you don't have the time. I felt that way early in 2019, all the moments coming up, the conquest, etc.
But I realized that I don't have to do everything, It's useless to worry about "I got to get x done then y" etc. I do what I want, and I like having options.

It’s just options I feel like cards being game specific is cool. If there’s something you really want you go for it. More options is always good I love variety.
