Cobb vs. Walker
-
Cobb is 100% the move. I’ve done great with Larry but Cobb is Cobb! He’s a hitting machine with 99 speed and 90 pop on both sides!
-
I can't justify taking Walker out of lineup by far my best bat this year.

We are on the same boat.

So I made this same post a few days ago, and the overall consensus was Cobb and I agree. However, at the time I had Babe in LF and Thomas at 1B. I have sense sold Thomas to buy Walker and move Babe to 1B. My current OF is Harper/Cobb/Walker. Cobb runs down EVERYTHING in CF for me. He is also my leadoff hitter, and anything in the gap is basically a 3B with some going over the fence! I love that Walker card, too. Obviously I don't have MVP Trout or Mantle so that might change things, but with your OF I might give the slight edge to Cobb. It'd be hard to take Walker out of the lineup, though.....Hope this helps!

I can’t hit with Walker at all... so I went with Cobb in LF, Mantle in CF, and MVP Trout in RF. Cobb has been a hitting machine at the leadoff spot, but others swear by Walker so it’s all a matter of what you do best with

I'm still hitting in the .400's with Walker so I don't think Cobb would be anything more than a bench bat/runner for me.
-
People are sleeping on Duke Snyder, my outfield is Snyder, Cobb, Harper. Snyder for the price is great left handed bat, and decent fielding and speed, and about $100k less than Walker. Obviously not the same player but for the price I highly recommend Snyder
-
My best hitters overall this year have been Duke's All-Star card (my first prestiged) Ellsbury (end prestiged card)and Walker (3 hits and 10-12 runs from prestige)..all three hitting better than Mantle and Trout for me but I havent used Duke or Ellsbury much since I got Mantle and Trout in the last month....
I did end up picking Cobb though because I didn't get him last year. Probably gonna buy Kershaw just not sure when his price will move down or if it will

Cobb and Walker are a toss up IMO. Walker will hit more home runs, Cobb is faster and a better fielder. But Cobb can hit and Walker can field. So I don't think you can go wrong either way. I have one on my bench and the other starts.
-
The thing that puts it over the top for me is the speed. I can have a bad ab, dribble a grounder and beat it out, next thing you know Cobbs on 3rd.

Nobody runs on Walker. He's a beast
