This Game Stinks!

The content is great and the graphics are decent, really no change in the last four years but a little clean up in colors and fine detail.
But there is dropped frames and latency issues. AND WE SEE IT, AND SDS KNOWS THIS!
The response times are ridiculously inconsistent.
I play this game because I like baseball. But online is straight up a horrible experience. I MEAN HORRIBLE
No disrespect to SDS. But this game needs a lot of work on how it holds up when it is being played peer to peer, MEANING ONLINE.
I have addressed this with them at SDS for many years. Still, they make a game that cannot deliver online capabilities.
I do not see it getting any better with cross compatibility coming soon. I wish it was different. But.... wishing only gets your expectations high and leads to disappointment.
Keep wishing for a better game. But it is not going to happen folks. THATS ALL!

Connection and Latency issues are a major reason people don't hit consistently every game.. Thats not a YOU thing thats a everybody thing.

That and the fact that the timing windows are so small this year is my thinking. Maybe they should open them up a little?

I like diamond dynasty and I buy the game every year, but online is awful compared to offline play. I just find offline DD and franchise about as interesting as watching paint dry, unfortunately. Online is a mess of inconsistencies, from the intentional meddling by SDS (a 95mph fastball travels at 95mph. There’s no room for different pitch speeds at different levels in an MLB game), to the horrific effects that connections can have on gameplay in many various ways, to the constant patches that change everything, only to change it all back again later on. It’s terrible and I play online in spite of the issues, not because I don’t see them or I enjoy them. It’s the only option for H2H baseball, what can I do?
