Early Guesses for Finest Cards
-
We are close to the end of the season and we have reached a lull in the amount of content coming out.
Personally I believe that TA4 will be Finest cards. Like last year each team will have 1 Finest card and there will be several "Boss" cards for award winners (MVP, Cy, etc) for reaching a certain Tier of cards.
Keep this in mind. Players with high Tier cards will be left out. For Example Luis Robert is the AL ROY, but he has a 99 OVR alreadySo here goes my best guess.....
NL POTY - (Collect All reward) - Fernando Tatis, Jr.
AL POTY - Brandon Lowe
AL Pitcher - Bieber
NL Pitcher - DeGrom (could be Darvish)
AL Rookie - Kyle Lewis
NL Rookie - Jake CronenworthTeam Finest:
BAL: Anthony Santander
BOS: Bogaerts
NYY: Voit
TAM: Adames or Anderson
TOR: TeoscarChiSox: Anderson
Clev: Lindor or Franmil
Det: Candelario
KC: Keller ?? They have no standout performances
Min: Buxton or DobnakLAA: Rendon
OAK: Hendricks
SEA: Gonzales
TEX: Lynn
HOU: Tucker or GrienkeATL: Fried
MIA: Rojas
NYM: Dominic Smith
PHL: Realmuto
Was: Turner (Soto will be the Lightning card this month)Cubs: Darvish
Cin: Bauer
MIL: Hader by default
Pit: Moran
STL: GoldschmidtARI: Gallen
COL: Freeland
LAD: Seager (Betts will get an MVP card soon)
SD: Machado or Lamet (could they get 3??)
SF: Yaz or SolanoLet the debate begin!!!!!

Sadly, Brandon Lowe has faded drastically over the past couple weeks. His numbers don't look bad because he was so hot, but he's gotta turn it around and do it soon. He struggles with swinging at breaking pitches out of the zone. When he got hot, he was commanding the strike zone well and not chasing much. When pitchers made a mistake, he was hammering it. Now he's back to chasing pitches. He's regularly swinging at the first pitch he sees regardless of what pitch it is or the location. He hasn't been barreling the ball up as well like he normally does too, but I think it's because he's pressing too much. He could be great, but he's gotta make more consistent adjustments.

I don't see the Braves being anyone but Freeman or Acuña, its the only way they get high overall cards and both are the faces of our current team.
Fried should get a POTM card, probably not the boss but one of the cards leading up to Tatis or whoever.

Min: Buxton or DobnakGonna have to disagree on Candelario, when comparing him to Schoop or Victor Reyes. The latter two might be the better guesses for a finest card. Casey Mize is another possibility.
My guess for Kansas City is Whit Merrifield. He loves getting on base.
Anderson has been a great annoyance to me (as a Tigers fan), so through gritted teeth I admit that a finest card would make sense.

Ian Happ and Darvish will both get Finest if not monthly awards.
-
This would be horrible. I think i'd just sell off all of my Tier 4 exchanges and not even do it if these were the rewards. Also, just dont see how Tatis Jr. wont be the Lightning Player collection reward for Topps Now.
If SDS sticks to the ways its been done in the past, Finest will be sold in Packs (this is how they make $$). There could be some outside of packs as well, but I dont see Finest being the TA final reward......personally, I'd love to see them do great cards from past seasons that people have loved (Think Beltran)

They release cards until December, so why is everyone assuming that we are getting all this final content like finest cards within the next few weeks.

I know Finest is not coming in the next few weeks.
I started this thread as a "snapshot" of the season right now.
Mostly to have a discussion about baseball rather than how the "game sucks", or "its out to get me" or "I hit 10 Perfect-Perfects for 10 outs" that we usually see.
There is still lots of baseball left to play. -
I just hope we get to vote again. It would be a fun make-up for not being able to vote for all stars this year.

Will love either option

I think Jose Abreu deserves it for the Sox, but since he just got a juicy TN I’d be happy to give it to TA.
And I feel like Robert is going to finish stronger than Lewis. It should be an exciting 3 weeks.

Abreu was my first choice, but he has the 97 and Robert was #2 and my pick for ROY but he has that sweet 99 OVR.
I was hoping for Moncada to add to my All Cuban team, but Yoan has failed to deliver this year.Eloy could steal it at the end as long as he stays away from the nets in left field.

Rojas has really stepped it up as the vocal and productive leader of the Marlins. Aguilar has been a tremendous pick up as well. Love Agui!
-
For the Mets it would have to be Conforto(already had the FotF card tho) deGrom or Dom Smith.

Dude seriously I get scared any time the ball is hit to left field. That dude is going to hurt himself (again) just trying to make routine plays. He is God’s gift to DH but he has no business in the outfield.
Moncada has said he still hasn’t physically recovered to 100% after getting corona in late June. He has said a couple times he’s just very fatigued, and his numbers reflect it. I really hope he’s not one of the unlucky people who end up with permanently decreased lung capacity. That dude has a ton of talent and he is a huge part of this rebuild.
That Chris Sale trade was unbelievably lopsided in our favor ... but now that Kopech has said his heart isn’t in baseball anymore and Moncada isn’t able to play at peak level, that trade just looks cursed (especially when you favorite in Sale’s arm troubles too).
