Showdown 8th inning

SDS. I usually struggle with completing showdowns. This inning was perfect. I got it done in two tries. Usually it takes me 10 or more tries. The only thing I didn't like about the 8th inning showdown was the extra boss mission. Thankfully someone on here suggested skipping it since it didn't give you any runs.

I failed miserably on my first attempt. Went through the early missions fairly easily. Crapped out on the missions in the second half and then could not buy a hit off Kershaw. I'll try it again. It may have been an off day.

I used right handed power hitters that had 65 or more power. I did select at least two silver pitchers I believe, because I think you have to save one game, then another game pitch. Just be patient, don't swing at the first pitch.

I lost 15-15. Went in down 4. With 12 outs left it was down to 2..then finally got it to 1 with 6 outs. 3 ours left and get a 81 guy on 1st. Thinking I can steal 2nd and 3rd....get picked off. Then strike out 2 times to end it 15 15.. so disappointed and mad at spending an hour on it for nothing.

Yeah skipping it doesn’t make sense, there is a nice reward for completing it. In fact I’ll be spamming that particular inning showdown to stock up on BIAH packs. You get two.

Also you can make like 10k in Stubs.

I picked MVP Trout instead of Cobb. Lucky round there and also got Award Rickey Henderson. Those two at the top of my lineup won me several missions within the first two batters. Also had that FS Murphy and LS Ozuna crushed. Only mission I lost was the one where you have to strike out Mazeroski.

To beat Maz throw high fastballs out of the Strikezone. Swings every time

Yeah skipping it doesn’t make sense, there is a nice reward for completing it. In fact I’ll be spamming that particular inning showdown to stock up on BIAH packs. You get two.
I can do that now, since I completed showdown. Wasn't taking the risk just to start over.

It was probably the easiest one for me so far and I was dreading it since I'm terrible against good lefties. Went in down 15-12 with an all-righty lineup with the exception of Klesko leading off. Crushed two 2-run homers within the first six batters and won 16-15 with 18 outs to go lol. I couldn't believe it.
