Practice with DD squad

Is there an effective way to practice with your DD squad without playing an actual game?

Go to extended play, then play vs cpu

That's what I have been doing, except playing the extra innings. Thag way it's a more realistic look at online opponents. I just wish there was a custom practice in DD like there is in the main menu.

I've never done it but search it up on YouTube and you might find something. I think i remember a few months back coming across a video where someone showed a way where you can actually do this.

I practice on the Willie Mays conquest map. After a while , you even earn 10 free packs.

I've always wanted this feature, too. As far as I'm aware, the only way to do practice is to practice with any of the 30 live series teams (plus throwback teams, like the Expansion Era team, for example).
I want a practice mode where I can practice with my DD squad, where I can just take pitches and observe without worrying about striking out.
