Anyone think that these cards are disrespectful to every MLB player that has ever put on a uniform? I mean, to just make stuff up like they do?? These men put blood, sweat and tears into their careers and now they just make stuff up?!?! Let’s make some guy that has barely pitched in the majors (Alex Reyes among others) totally filthy!!! I think it’s disrespectful to players and I think it shows a lack of creativity on the part of SDS. I used Reyes a couple games when he first came out years ago and then I was like.......this is stupid. Used Gorman a few games this year and then I was like.......this is still stupid lol! I’ll never use one again!!!

No, they aren't disrespectful. no MLB player is going to look at a FS card in-game and be offended by it, they don't care.

No they’re not disrespectful because it’s a video game, in real life we know who the top dogs are. What future stars did though was help me learn about these young guys that I didn’t know about because I don’t really follow every teams farm system.

The issue is the fact they went way overboard with Future Stars this year. The first gold cards in TA were perfect, and the prospect cards were fine too. Once we got to tier 2, we got too far. Prospects should happen in the beginning of the year, but Future Stars should remain a late game program.

I agree. We should have legends like griffey and chipper, and prime pujols, cabrera, before these cards.

They do this stuff with real baseball cards too. And are wrong maybe 90% of the time. It is no big deal. Every sport likes to push the next high draft pick even if he doesnt live up to it and some late round guy wins MVP.

My only issue with Future Stars is that a lot if these guys have two diamonds, when a lot of legends haven’t even come out yet or only have golds... It’s frustrating for people who want play DD for legends..

i wasn't crazy about them at first, but they have become some of my favorite cards in the game this year. Vidal, Jazz, Bart, Dylan, Taylor Trammell.......these cards really helped me to know who all of these great young stars are. So much fun they are.

Cool part I noticed is a lot of them have made bigs this year which makes little easier to accept. Maybe if my Mets had more future stars u know like a Kelenic I would like better too

Maybe I phrased my initial thought wrong. This is more what I mean. There are unlimited options for players that have already proven themselves.

In the past, I have typically only followed my teams’ prospects and the top 10 or so overall. The FS and prospect cards have gotten me at full-mast about a huge new influx of young talent that we are seeing now or will see next year. I truly appreciate SDS for doing that for me.

There’s nothing disrespectful about FS cards. Lol, you silly little teapot. And how exactly does trying something new qualify as a “lack of creativity?” That’s literally the exact opposite of a lack of creativity, my sweet little honeybee. How would you prefer SDS be “creative”? By finding a way to get Smoltz another high diamond? Lol, oh you just tickle me, chickadee.

The time for being a colic-ridden crybaby about FS cards passed months ago, my little zygote. If you want to draw your line in the sand and be brave by standing up for true injustices, good for you. The rest of us are raking with Robert and Pache and keeping the dish nice and warm for Adley.

Also... it’s a video game, Aladdin. Lol. You silly goose you.
