I'm perfectly fine with the Ripken we already have, I can't normally hit with him because of his swing but the HRD version seems to hit everything for a homerun or in a gap.

I’m hitting 423 with cal in 150 abs or so. His swing is much better this year.

Love Cal. I think it was last year.....i used his early inning boss card for months. If we get a SS Ripken id love to use it, but it will depend on its price.....i mean, if we cant just choose it because its an inning boss.

I also did great w Ripken’s card last year... but haven’t had the chance to try his HRD card - I’m sure it’s great!

Has anyone payed enough attention, do they change his swing according to his card. He had multiple stances, swings and approaches over the years. I hit really well with his HRD card and if I remember correctly that year he had a more compact swing. Didn't do the stupid slide on his shoulder. Or twitching of his elbow.

His swing is trash every year, you can give him a 125 OVR card and it would be the same thing over and over.

exactly bud, i absolutely love the HRD Ripken card - online he just rakes for me over 20 games so far online at least and he's batting over 500

Cal last year was terrible, this year his swing is good enough that he plays up to his attributes! I'm doing well with him hitting 350 I think

I think the HRD card's swing in unduly maligned. It seems quick enough. Are people put off by closed stances?

Ripken had so many different stances and hand positioning throughout his career. Am I wrong that they only have 1 for all his different cards?
