Race to 900 stars in 7th inning program

Showdown is a huge boost with 70 stars, but thats 1 time only. Outside of doing mission and stuff related to the programs (including collecting all 3 bosses for another 75 star boost)....you really need to play a ton.
1 star for every 2000 xp per in-game xp earned.
Frankly, as someone else noted....the post 300 star rewards for this inning are total buns up until you hit like 700.
Gold cover player pack? (you get all 3 free from xp track, even then if you sold its not worth grinding for this)
Useless nameplate? Thanks for pretty much nothing.
Stubs are nice always but only 4,000 stubs for like 500 stars of grinding is a bit steep.
Even the 600 star ballin pack is kinda trash. They used to be great packs but I've pulled 1 diamond in like 70+ ballin packs this year. I have literally received more Trouts from post-game rewards this year than I have any diamond in a ballin pack. -
I'm at 250 and dont see myself getting there. They really need to make the daily missions count when playing friends online. i can understand about the others but the daily missions should be however you get them.

I am at 370 or something like that. No interest in pursuing the 400 and 450 rewards.

I posted about this when the 7th inning program came out... I was going to try really hard to get to 900. I've played a TON. I've got all the challenges done except Cruz HR's (1 of 3 - he's the bane of my existence).
And... I'm not even going to come close. I crossed 600, but I there's no way to grind 300 stars by Thursday.

You, or anyone, have an clue how they dish out the program stars? Besides the obvious stuff like missions, programs, etc. like what determines why I randomly get 1,2,3 stars here and there? I have never paid attention to that to know why after one game I don’t move in stars and the next one I have 2 more all a sudden.
You get one star per 3 innings online

Lol. I'm not even to 300 in this, or the last inning. I have too much to do and the hamster wheel is no longer appealing.

I'll never get to that amount ever on any program. After 300 I really see no point but the ones where it has been 600 I finished them quickly without really trying.

This was me... if I got higher it was just cause I had so much time now I am back to work and the rewards in 400 and beyond were so bad this program.

For me the HRD packs were worth it as I hit the rare round in both, but rewards leading up to 750 I agree were not a huge incentive to keep going

there is an easy way to get there but it is very time consuming and I started it but it did not seem worth the time and effort to do it, maybe in the 8th inning I will.

I made it to 750, opened a low-end HRD pack, fell to the floor, curled up into a fetal position, and decided I need to NOT play for a few days...

I took a break yesterday, I got 99 trout the day before and used him. Didn't feel like playing yesterday but new content today! I gotta play a little lol

I did a big push last night to get to 400... I saw a post that caught my eye...is there a way to get stars for previous innings? I joined late and did the missions and conquests and even did some voucher collecting but I seem maxed out on 1st inning around 200 stubs... (guessing at the moment)

For first time this year I didn’t even hit 300 in an inning. I can still get to it with the player programs and Conquest, but the bosses haven’t been very inspiring most of the year. I bought Harper and Frank, but only because I had a bunch of stubs. Been playing other games, but I’ve also noticed that it seems like even CPU games take way longer than they used to. Not motivated to play online.
