With next-gen consoles on the way....there better be NEW classic stadiums, too

I don't care if it is two of them, or twenty. Us customers all want new stadiums. I know it can be difficult to upgrade a game, or render new artwork, etc. And I also know they have to pay for the rights to those new stadiums.
So do it.
So many of us spend SO much extra money on this game. It's the least you could do, SDS. Give us Old Comiskey Park. Tiger Stadium. The Kingdome. Candlestick Park. Something. Anything. Old Comiskey and Tiger Stadium, specifically, should be easy to render. How much can the rights possibly cost? I would even pay for it as DLC!

With it being on multiple consoles next year I can see it going 1 of 2 ways. Either they up their game by improving everything including even more content and better gameplay. Or they get complacent and put out a game and don’t fix bugs or issues because Xbox users will buy the game regardless

I expect some big legends next year. I expect Roberto Clemente probably complete live series collection. Randy Johnson, Jeter, Koufax, Ichiro will be back. and many many more. Gotta cash grab all the new xbox, switch players before they see how bad packs are.

Upgrades may be for the show 2022. remember a lot of players are still going to be on Ps4's, and they aren't going to make 2 different games. 21 will probably look better on the 5 but I don't think the real improvements come till 22 after they have had a chance to play with he engine and more people have switched over to the 5.

is anyone getting a new stadium next year?

#1 packs aren't that bad really. In comparison to other games or even real packs of baseball cards. They state the odds, it's up to you to understand how odds work.
#2 Once again, people really seem to be hyping themselves up to unrealistic expectations for next years game. If anything the first year on next gen consoles usually lose features in the transition. I wouldn't expect them to throw the kitchen sink at it just because its on other platforms. If anything I'd exprct them to bank on sales just because those platforms haven't had a baseball game in years.

I for one can't wait for multi system. SDS has been way to coddled by it's Sony playerbase for years not calling them out enough on some of the bad stuff we deal with in this game. These other consoles for years haven't had baseball and have heard how great the show is. Can't wait for the first day Xbox users get to see how losing a game to an Okay/Okay Very Early non PCI placed home run feels and doesn't just hug them and thank them for being there.
I don't see any major spending on new players, they seem the last few seasons stuck in the loop of the same dudes. I for one would rather see a few less "legend" 99 guys and a better influx of lifetime All Stars.
All we hear is about how having so many 99s gives us so many roster options and then you see the same roster every time you boot up a game anyways. So much money spent on these cards that see no play.

Not super disagreeing, but the packs are semi-misleading. As somebody who was a big card collector those odds are pretty accurate since only so many get made. When you see 1:36 and you buy a booster box you will get 1-2 of them. The 1:50 is every time you crack a pack to my understanding, there is no in game checker that you've gone 70+ packs without one. Every crack rolls the dice and you need it to come up 50. I had some pretty amazing pack luck early in the season, but just cracked like 30-40 BIAH packs (1 Diamond Greinke (Whoopie)), and around 80+ Standard/Team Affinity packs and haven't pulled anything.
Also headliner packs need to be weighed more towards the headliner then a diamond. I've pulled more live series trash diamonds from headliners then the actual headliner card. Have had the Dibble pack as a reward twice with a diamond in it and my excitement level is through the roof, and then some trash 5k quick sell diamond get pulled.
Edit- I think you're right on with the second thought though. There is no way we don't lose features (PLEASE LOSE MOMENTS WE HATE THEM). They are going to have to deal with systems they aren't used to and we the buyer will suffer in the process.

Ebbetts Field. Looks a lot like Shibe with more billboard though. Which are always cool.

I mean, Buffalo is already an improvement over the concrete mosoleum.
