Pudge or piazza should be an inning boss this week

Catcher is the only position left that doesn’t really have a lot of great options. Seems like most people are using a CAP. Some using Biggio but that’s a secondary position and while he is good he’s probably not everyone’s idea of endgame. Posey is possibly the best but not amazing against righties. Posada is solid every year but lacking defensively. Piazza would be a beast again offensively and pudge was more than enough last year offensively and outside of the weird past ball issues he had, he is near perfect defensively. Right now almost any other player released unless an absolute stud would have a tough time beating out someone else because all other positions are pretty stacked. I’m pretty confident the really big names will come in TA4 so I don’t think there will be a Griffey or mays etc in the innings.

Pudge would be the only option as it's clear SDS is not reusing players who where inning bosses last year.
Also I thing FS Adley is a possibility as an inning boss as we have yet to see a FS inning boss and with him being a catcher it would fits perfectly

Oh I certainly hope it isn’t bench lol. Maybe Foxx with a catchers secondary?!

Could be bench too but I’m hoping for pudge or piazza. I feel like those two were more popular last year than bench.

Bench or Pizza wont be inning bosses as they were bosses last year
Pudge and Adley would be the most likely options to be inning bosses at the catcher position

Prolly be Pudge. At least at some point. I didn’t have great success with pudge last year. Maybe it’ll be different this year. Realmuto was the best catcher for me last year so I’m hoping he gets an upgrade

I've never liked Piazzas swing.

Piazzas swing is difficult, but he mashes if you stick with him and find the timing. Everything off his bat is a bullet.

If they dont do Finest for TA-Fall I am sure Pudge will be the Rangers final TA. Or they could extend his player program.
