Elite Beach Ball pack

They have a few high end future stars, the big boy legends we all want and like half of the great relievers left so I can see another round being added.

On Friday. Cobb, Kershaw, and Chipper Jones.
Who’s with me?
I just think there’s no way they do it. Hornsby Ryan and Robert are endgame cards and could be elite tier themselves.
what is your point? Most cards releasing now are end game cards. Are you saying there are no 3 other yet released that are better than the mid tier? Kershaw, Chipper, Gehrig, Foxx and about 10+ more are better than Ryan, Hornsby and Robert.
They’re clearly meant to be end game cards. The point I’m making is the elite tier wouldn’t be a significant enough upgrade over the rare tier. Hornsby was a top 2 second baseman last year and from what I’ve seen is widely considered in the same category this year, Ryan would absolutely be an elite pitcher if his pitch mix wasn’t atrociously bad for this game, and Robert is a 5 tool outfielder right along the lines you’ve set. How much of an upgrade would it be?? Not enough.
Of course, now that I’m saying this watch me be completely wrong on it.
All in saying is that the odds for Hornsby, Ryan, and Robert wouldn’t have been 1/4 in this pack if they didn’t plan on adding a 1/10 elite tier
I know I know, it’s weird. All I’m saying is that those three are good enough to be in the theoretical elite tier.

And two of the three base tier cards are end game level options too lmao. The “too good to not be in the highest tier” doesn't make much sense when two of the most expensive cards in 19 are in the base tier of this pack.

Both BR rewards. Gagne I understand, but Posada was super expensive because everybody trips over themselves for a switch hitting catcher. The separation between them would just be so minuscule.
On a side note I’m gonna need you to stop disagreeing with me on literally every post I make lmao

Would you say to sell Hornsby/Gagne/Posada etc today before Conquest map and possible flash sales?
-
They could also add some BB pack to the conquest map as they were still in the shop for the last conquest map.
-
I sold mine but Gagne especially. The pack only cost $40K and clearly there will be more. There is no justifiable reason for base tier to be this expensive. If I could short sell this market I'd be all over it.....
-
The elite teir seems like its enviable however its arrival has been much longer then the elite DOTP pack so I can see why there is doubt of its arrival.
If an elite round does arrive I dont think the player need to be better then what's in the rare round but on par much like some of the later Sig pack in 19 had. There are some Ames to still be added that would fit well in the elite teir
99 Joe Morgan
99 Pudge
99 Duke SnyderAll 3 of these guys could fit there and we can argue all day who is better and why or why not they should be in the elite teir.
My other thinking now is we get a 3rd speical choice pack that included 3-5 base round players and 3 rare teir players.

It wouldn’t hurt. Even if an elite tier isn’t added their prices will drop upon the next release of the beach ball pack, which will happen.
-
SDS what are you waiting for? Today would have been perfect to add the elite round. with Madden coming out it would have kept some players still playing MLB instead of Madden. Next week with the 3 new inning bosses, gonna be hard to top that.

I did sell them earlier on your advice. Looks like I should be able to pick them up cheaper, thanks.

That worked out well @the_dragon1912 . Thanks man. Sold Gagne and Hornsby this morning for 170k combined, and bought back for 85k. Tip of the cap to you man.

No problem man. I wasn’t 100% sure it would happen today but a beach ball re-release was bound to happen eventually. A card at 1/4 odds(same as Cutch, Greinke, Boggs), wasn’t going to stay above 100k forever no matter how good it is
