Agreed. For me, Biggio was the best surprise of the bunch. Hits for contact and has pop in his bat. Is incredibly fast on the base paths (90+). And he's a 2B with a secondary position at catcher (where he plays for me.)

I got my boy sandberg at 2b hes the goat so id have biggio at catcher if i were to do it

Same here. Sandberg is the best. Wasn't going to move him, so I benched my CAP catcher for Biggio.

The only thing i have about not doing the collection is i have the stubs to buy anyone that comes out if i want them and those cards that come out at the end of the year

Also not a bad idea, but I will say this: you will NOT be disappointed with Mantle. He is by far the best hitter on my team. Switch hitter. Power. Speed. Fielding.
Even when I make bad swing he can hit them for doubles. Granted, I am not a great player, and I play mostly offline HOF/Veteran level games. But Mantle i[censored]ting .440 for me.

I think what you’re thinking is correct. You can add 3-4 players to your roster immediately by doing the AL first. Biggio is very versatile, Trout is Trout, Wagner is very good and Doolittle is decent depending on your bullpen.

I say it depends where the needs on your team are but I pretty much agree with this. I did the AL first and Biggio, Wagner, and Trout are still on my current team. Like mentioned Doolittle is also decent and I had him, along with Giambi, and Nolan Ryan on my team for a long time as well.

AL collection is better overall. Trout is gonna start for you, Wagner was a top LRP before the SS card, biggio can play C, 2B and CF in a pinch. He hits well better than his ratings suggest. I love Sheffield and have kept him in the lineup by moving him to 3rd after adding Ruth, but the other NL collection players are underwhelming.

If your biggest weakness is your bullpen Wagner and Doolittle would probably help. I would say Wagner for sure would help and depending on who you have Doolittle might also. I actually love that Wagner card. He is still my closer! I also have Dibble but use either one depending on match ups. I have total confidence though whenever I go to that Wagner card to close out a game, he's filthy. Your D would be improved too by getting Babe out of the outfield and replacing him out there with Trout.

That's a pretty solid pen though. I have Gagne, Hoffman, and Fingers in my pen also. I had Rodney too up until I got Hoffman but Rodney isn't that bad either. I think you could definitely use Wagner though for sure. Maybe replace Osuna and Alverado with Wagner and Doolittle.

Yeah I know what you mean with Osuna. I didn't use it this year, but for the past couple of years early on in the game I've used his LS card and have had a lot of success with it too. Once you get Wagner and Doolittle just try them out and see how you do with them. I can pretty much guarantee that Wagner will do well. It's nice also to have an extra guy or two that you can rotate in and out of your bullpen with the stamina how it is and everything. Good luck man!

For sure man, I hate seeing that stub count go down like that. Ive been saving for Trout and probably have enough to get him but its hard to pull the trigger. Its been a good year though to flip some cards and make stubs so no doubt you can get them back. The LS collection is definitely worth doing though. You get a lot of good cards along the way.

Exactly. And good XP bonuses. I had like 400K in stubs and still needed the 8 most expensive LS players, Trout down thru Bellinger. But then I went through my collection, sold off duplicates, equipment and cards I didn’t really need (Topps Now, some Gold All Stars going for 15K), and I finished the LS collection with 100K to spare. Hello, Biggio, Sheffield and Mantle.

Card[censored] differently for everyone. Biggio is like top utility man, even out of position at SS and COF he still has Silver Shield, non Prestige. However i can't hit $4!+ with him. Sheffield on the other hand is in crowded OF or near defensive liability for me at 3B.

For me if you ate looking for offense Sheffield, if all around Biggio
