I unequivocally disagree. Your assertion of Topps Now packs being available later on goes against what Topps Now cards represent. If you know about Topps Now cards through Topps.com, they are only available for a limited time. After that time has expired, they are no longer available. It would make absolutely no sense to include Topps Now packs in the conquest maps at a later date because it goes against the nature of Topps Now; Topps Now is supposed to be limited and only available for 24 hours (citation: https://www.topps.com/toppsnow). Topps does not make them available at a later date, and they would likely not agree to have them included in a later Conquest map.
I think the current Topps Now cards will skyrocket when the collection of the new lighting card gets released and it is a monster Tatis card with 125 power. In fact, most people don't even know yet that you need the Topps Now collection to get it (Go to Collections, then Monthly; you will see the requirements there).
That is why I posed a question the other day who was the card that no one was likely to chose out of the pack. I wanted to see who was likely to be the rarest and most sought after on the aftermarket.

I already collected them all, I forgot how many I earned and got off the map. If you bought none, how many would you have now if you earned them every way you could?
The question is would SDS make everyone have to buy at least one or 2 TN cards to complete the collection or would they put out enough that can be earned by play. If you'll need to buy 1 yeah, the prices will go up as every single player in the game will have to purchase what they don't have. also there's still those guys who don't do maps or want to grind moments.

That would be nice. Would make it easy to just get the 24 topps now cards collected and be done with it. That's what I'm hoping for.

I'm buying up all the topps now cards available on the market over the next couple of days. I'm one of those guys who doesn't really grind moments or do maps so I'm hopeful that 24 topps now cards is enough to get me the collection. I figure worst case scenario I can sell them back and make a pretty good profit once they announce who the reward is. If it is a Tatis Jr. like everyone thinks though I would love to have that card. If we need more than 24 topps now cards I just hope it isn't too much of a grind. I hate playing the CPU and hate playing online with certain cards just to try and rack up stats with them.

I know many players don't grind moments and don't do conquest maps. That's why people are paying 20K-25K for Bichette when you can easily just grind to get him. For some, spending stubbs to buy them off the market is much easier than doing the actual moments or figuring out how to play Conquest to find packs.
You may have a point about TN packs being hidden in the map that comes out Friday, but I highly doubt that it will make prices plummet. It may lower them for the short term as the supply increases slightly, but remember that the demand will increase dramatically once the new lighting player is announced* ( *if it's a juiced up Tatis with 125 power. All bets are off if it's Jose Abreu, etc or if the Tatis Lighting is not that much better than Bichette ).

Thinking about this though, we had some packs on the last map, but otherwise these cards have only come from the 1x moments. You have to figure a bunch have been locked in for Trout, with all these TN cards on the market there must be a lot of guys who have sold them... So there may very well be a lot of players that have 0 of these. I know some guys who have been flipping these, and some who have bought and held waiting for this POTM.

I also stand by my guess that it will be the 99 Tatis card and that you'll need FOF Tatis and the Tops Now cards plus whatever grinding required to get it.

I have a feeling you might be correct on this as well. I've got the FOF Tatis Jr and I'm about to get all the topps now cards. I am REALLY hoping though that there is minimal to zero grinding required. Being a Padre fan I am very much looking forward to this card but can not stand grinding against the CPU or using particular cards in an online game just to try and rack up stats with them.

haha.....yeah probably true. I'll accept that mission or even a little bit more against the CPU. I just don't want to have to do a million different things against the CPU and I definitely don't want to have to load up my DD roster with a bunch of cards I normally wouldn't have just to grind out online stats with certain cards. Some people might not mind it so much but I pretty much only play RS with somewhat limited time and when I do play, I like to play to win and not compile stats for certain cards I otherwise wouldn't even have on my roster.

Because it says it right on the header of the page that you’ll need 24 for the august lightning player
