Franchise is about info, not looks

This is my take. Franchise needs all the info in every screen.
Look, anyone who manages a real team knows it's impotrant to know the stats and the fatigue of their players.
But not The Show, in what's SUPPOSED to be the most realistic format. (That's Franchise, for those of you buying bubble-gum cards and giving more money to the producers.)
WHY are pitchers' lefty and righty batting averages ONLY available as the pitcher comes in to the game, or if you make yourself the opposing manager and go to the bullpen and THEN look?
Why are batting averages against lefties and righties unavailable?
Why are hitter's fatigue NOT available DURING the game?
The developer's got ALL THIS EXTRA RAM in the PS 4 and they chose to spend it on somersaulting graphics of elite cards in an obscure menu instead of giving managers important info during the game?
Perfect, Sony. You're the problem. You let players (their union) make a monopoly of their images and stats - or MLB giving you "rights" to product (stats) already in the public domain.
And then you make a game glamorising the look of the game by focusing on how a homerun or high-5 looks, instead of on the data that a manager needs.
Give us righty/left stats and fatigue during IN GAME!
Give us the option to turn off your (USUALLY WRONG) derermination of future performance. That is, give us a button that allows us to let our teams just use our players' stats at the start of the year without your silly, arbitrary and so often wrong prediction of future performance.
Is this so odd? Give us facts. Give us stats. You already do the cosmetic stuff. Now let us play the game without idolizing the motion-catpture of your latest hero.

we are supposed to be getting gum with the cards?? I've gotten hundreds,maybe even thousands of pack this year, and I'm not getting any gum.

Why have they consistently removed features that were always available in franchise? Why does it go backward every year? I'm done with mlb the show until they fix the issues with everything, the only thing that they care about is DD, everything else is just made worse each year. Franchise was better 5-6 years ago, why remove things you already had? It's Madden all over again, and maybe if enough people quit buying garbage and think that a new card is content it'll get fixed. It used to be you made garbage games, guess what? You ain't doing that long before nobody buys it. Now it's certain companies who pay a certain amount are the only companies that can make a game regardless of what it is. It's just dumb anymore for every sporting game - you basically have one option. So for me personally, it's going to be but none of them.

Once companies seen the money rolling in for Madden because of MUT that was the death nail. Mlb the show is still better then any sports game but i worry going cross platform its gonna get worse. I get there in this to make money but to completely ignore or worse, regress Franchise mode is beyond me. Maybe whats going on with Madden right now will wake companies up to the fact that just as many if not more play franchise modes. And if they want to just make online card cames thats cool but let someone else make franchise games or have a dedicated team. I dont know id hate to lose the best baseball game, best sports game over greed but history isn't on our side.
