Stadiums That YOU Want to be Added Next Year (Hey, SDS!)
-
We do this every year. Every year exact same stadiums. Oh wait. Except for the teams who open a new stadium, we get those. And their "old" stadiums become classics.
-
Candlestick is the only big league stadium I’d want. Especially if they have the wind added to it, be fun watching people try and catch pop ups and fly balls there lol
Separate idea though, I’d like them to create some old backyard baseball fields, adjust dimensions of course, but it would be cool to play in. I’m guessing a lot of people grew up playing backyard baseball as a kid and it would be a nice throwback.
-
A lot of the ones posted earlier on that list would be great. I’d definitely love to see the Kingdome (they could even show the tiles falling from the roof onto the field). Ebbets Field would be great too. Astrodome too maybe.
-
Idaho’s Field of Dreams would’ve been cool had the Yankees and Sox been able to play there this year

I want the Tacoma rainiers stadium to be added, strange it has taken all these years to add at least the triple A stadiums.
I would rather have a Rainer's field over a Kingdome recreation, for sure.

As a life-long Ms fan, I would be pretty disappointed with a Kingdome, considering how drab the interior was. It would be the darkest, grayest field in the game.

Ebbets field home of the Brooklyn Dodgers & old Comiskey park

I’m 40 years old. From the age of 6 to the age of 19, I went to nearly 200 Tiger games at Tiger Stadium.
I miss that ball park like you miss women you loved at one point.
The fact they tore it down sucks to this day. I miss that park. Would love to at least revisit it in this game. Whatever rights SDS would need to make that park a reality in this game, is a possibility for sure.
Tiger Stadium would be so great.
-
Definitely the Kingdome

Tiger Stadium would be so great.
I drove by Michigan and Trumble during a roadtrip I took to Detroit to catch the Marlins and Tigers at Comerica last time they played there. I just had to see where Jackson's HR would have landed had it not hit the transformer.
Turned out to be an alley next to a liquor store lol. They still had the front gate standing and the old flagpole was still standing as well. I believe they were building some type of police complex but were planning to keep the flagpole.
Although the area was very run down, it was one of the highlights of my trip to stand in a city block with so much baseball history.
We need Tiger Stadium in The Show!

Astrodome - Houston

Old Minute Maid Park - Tal's hill - Houston
Veterans Stadium - Philadelphia
Three Rivers Stadium - Pittsburgh
RFK Stadium - WashingtonI would also love to see a version of 2001 tripple play homerun derby implented. One of my favorite baseball games ever.
All great choices indeed. I’ll throw in Jarry Park Stadium in Montreal, pre-Olympic. Would be cool to try to hit the pool beyond right field. Stargell did it so much he earned a following.
On a side thought...not sure which game, but didn’t one of the older baseball video game versions have the stadium in Puerto Rico?
On the uniform comment, I’d like to add the ability to create and use an alternate jersey.

Yes, Hiram Bithorn Stadium in my beautiful island of Puerto Rico was once in The Show.
I'll second that Alt Jersey comment as well. -
Just give me Create a Ballpark. If MVP Baseball can have it this darn game can too. FFS its 2020
-
Would like all triple A ball parks at least. Astrodome and Busch 2 for my classics

Iowa.
I actually went to a softball game there with a bunch of hall of famers (Bench, Yount, Boggs, and I can’t remember who else) a few years back. It was fun.

I don't think we will get any new classic ballparks as the ones that are in there have been in there since the beginning of the show. The have only added the parks when the team got a new stadium.
They despise making stadiums. I just really, really miss Expansion mode from All-Star Baseball, and they had a lot of generic stadiums voiced by the least enthusiastic Derek Jeter of all time I want Expansion mode obviously, but I want Generic stadiums for my Franchises, since I tend to edit a lot of teams logos and whatnot, and it's weird playing in Rickey Henderson Field despite "moving" the A's, since there's no real replacement fields
I was a huge fan of ASB, had all the great depth in Franchise and tons of classic stadiums.
