Question from a newbie
-
Hey everyone!!
I just started playing MLB The Show this year and I’m loving it! I have a question about diamond dynasty if you don’t mind...
When I play DD I usually just play ‘regular season’ but I’m at the ‘Pennant Race’ level. Should I be choosing the same level of my ranking??
Thanks!

If you are talking about Ranked you start at the lowest level and go up from there.

You don't choose. That screen just shows the awards for each level. Win you go up, season ends, you get reward accordingly.

Thank you!
So to be clear, choosing to play a ranked season game in all-star, pennant race, or championship series doesn’t matter?

Choosing isn't an option. You start at the lowest and when you win and break 100 point thresholds the difficulty goes up with tougher players

I was a newbie to DD as well this year. Basically, as you play, if you win, your rank goes up and you move the various tiers. If you lose, your rank goes down. It gets much more difficult as you progress. The higher-ranked players are in the upper rankings, and are more difficult to beat.

I know it seems like you’re choosing when you’re scrolling left/right but you’re just scanning through the rewards for each level. Once you press the Start or “Options” button you will be placed against an opponent in your rank or near it.

This among other things as a newbie isn't clear. In fact I still don't understand why set your options to legend when you get bums on allstar like myself?
