Right now I have Brock in LF, Mantle in CF, and Sig Walker in RF.

When I eventually go for Ruth; I was planning on putting him on my bench, with Musial, however; I think the better play would be to put Ruth in one of the corner spots and run Brock off the bench/late game defensive coverage.

Those who've played Ruth in the outfield: Is he better suited for RF or LF?

Put Ruth at 1st. Even if you have a great first baseman then put him in right and put Walker in left. Ruth is an end game card. You make room for him in your lineup. One of the best cards in the game. Some people on here say they put Ruth on their bench and frankly, I don’t understand it.

I had better with Musial so babe is on the bench for me. I know it sounds weird but different swings perform different for different people. I can't explain it. If everyone had the George Brett or rod Carew swing I would be batting around .400 online

I'm the same, I tend to focus more in those pinch hit situations and Babe has done better for me off the bench. Defense is the same really, Musial is a tick slower but not a big deal. I feel like I get better balls to hit with Stan, and when I bring in the Babe it's usually a situation where they have to pitch to him.

    Running Awards Ortiz at 1st.

I suppose I could put Ortiz on the bench. But as a Red Sox fan; it's hard to bench him.

My outfield is Brock mantle and trout. Walker is on the bench, struggling with his prestige card. Babe at first is a beast, he is the best option at 1st.

That's interesting, Walker got quite a bit better for me after prestige. Higher avg. and the speed jump made a noticeable difference for me, especially in the field.
