As we all expected, Bellingers price dropped to like 70k and will probably drop more since his downgrade to 88. Well I'd like to gather the community's thought on a potentially picking one or two up.

Question is - assuming he starts to hit his stride again and is upgraded back to 90 - does his price recover to above 100k again? Or by that time - let say in a 2-3 weeks, there's already been too many Bellis pulled in packs and his price point never goes back up?

    Others:

A while back I picked up an extra Gagne and Lofton as I expected their prices to eventually go up. Lofton is above 40k now and Gagne hovers between 35-40k it seems.

I was thinking of selling both Loftons I have - or maybe one considering how dope he is for bunting my way onto base in the Babe Ruth moments. Something I dont seem to quite grasp is why his price is continuing to go up, considering hes a CF and the abundance of strong choices there. Is it because that beach ball pack was that one time and we have no inclination of when it may come back?

    Thoughts?

When the beach ball pack comes back(it will), Gagne and Lofton will drop hard. As for Bellinger, it depends on if there is a flash sale before he goes back up or not. One guaranteed live series pack, he’s down to 30k just like that IMO

I do not think he will return to the plus 100k level even if he gets back up to 90 OVR.
Now that he is an 88 OVR,his card will be more readily available in packs.
The longer he stays at sub 90 OVR the more of his cards will be pulled.
The only way he sky rockets in value is if he is upgraded to 90+ in the next week or two, any longer makes a price spike less likely.
And I doubt SDS will increase his rating so soon after downgrading him, he needs to go on a Tatis level tear to get upgraded again.

Lofton's price is up right now because he is the best option for CF in the current event. He's price will come back down as once the event is finsihed.

Unless he hits homerun in consecutive games or back to average like 320. I don’t really see that happening.

Yeah I could see the beach ball pack coming back on the next inning conquest. There’s even another conquest coming again for the current inning this week or next so good chance we’ll see it again. Or more ducks on the pond ughh
