This was true at the beginning of the year, 80 was the threshold. Since then, all the patches and changes have altered that. I don't know if anyone knows the formula anymore (including SDS).

I thought he said 80pwr minimum to have a chance at an oppo hr. but he was also teasing his co-workers about using low pwr guys at the time.

that's not true either because rod Carew hits bombs for me and he has well under 80 power

I honestly think it has more to do with the swing than it does the attributes. Sometimes this game makes absolutely no sense and sometimes it is great. I think they tinker with the sliders on a weekly basis especially in ranked seasons

I remember that stream in particular but i'm sure they meant it's more likely to be a home run..
There's no such thing as a guaranteed home run in baseball dude
Nothing wrong with perfect/perfect at the warning track there's all types of hits on the field brother -
He never absolutely guaranteed anything at all. I would bet real money on that, the stream had some verbiage along the lines of "most of the time"
-
The exact words were “you can pretty much expect”

Oh for Christ’s sake. Do I have to do this again?!? @raesONE already staked a million stubs on this.
How much real money do you want to bet?

I don't watch those cringe-worthy streams but if he said that that is an absolute false statement. I have plenty of perfect perfect that died at the warning track unless it is playing in shippett
Offline but I hit a few against the Redsox that died in CF. I know it's a deep part of the park, but Mantle shouldn't be hitting warning track shots with a PP.

I remained silent with a purpose this time.

Even if they did say that they have still doubled down on the 80 power thing and still have said vision is relevant so I don’t think they really know what they are talking about when it comes to gameplay lmao

Don't you get a warm fuzzy feeling when the people who make the game have no idea how it works? I do.

I have more HR with Boggs and Carew than a lot pure power hitters, pretty sure the 80 threshold is a marketing tactic.
