Yeah it seems a lock that he is the POTM, I think his juice up FOTF is just the lighting card and we are getting the preview.
I dont know if this was the plan for Topps now all along or the adjusted on the fly but it's working I loved all of the cards to this point now seeing that 98 Bo I am very aroused

C'mon already guys. You all know numbers mean nothing in this game. 86 Bichette, 80 Bichette..it's all the same. These cards mean nothing. And, you know that.
Nothing matters except who the AI decides is supposed to win the game.

I’m so glad Topps Now cards are usable this year. One of the best changes of 20.
Looking forward to Tatis’ endgame card, whatever the form.

I always wonder when I see these discussions whether you guys are serious about all this, ambassadors for the game, or just..whatever. Nothing in this game matters. It's on cruise control and once in a great while "feels" like, perhaps, you do have some control of the outcome. But rarely.
I just spent a game perfectly timing about every one of Hernandez's slow curve balls and getting nothing but outs.
Another game against some newbie using Yu Darvish blanking me for 8 innings. He can't touch any of my pitches..I can throw them anywhere and he just flails. I'm assuming he's either terrible or it could have been a bot..dunno. But, the AI decides this new guy should win a game for a change at my expense.
Just take a look at how he gets his tying run in the 7th...Bryant gets a double because my CF wouldn't move and the ball hits off the wall.. Padilla gets a single that looked like the AI just placed it in between the IF and OF...I mean it was up and down so quick it defied physics.
The winning run in the 8th was the worst of all. Starts with an error (don't they all). Another single that..whatever. But then the really freaky AI help I will describe. Wish I had recorded.
He's got Garver on 3rd..Looked like they were trying a suicide squeeze that is swung at and missed..Sanchez (my catcher) is standing there holding the ball..Garver heads back to 3rd..I run towards him..throw to 3rd...he turns and heads back to home...I throw home when he is 1/3 down the line...Sanchez catches it and does a spin around (hard to explain, but he actually spins away from the catch) then sort of goes into slow-mode and watches as Garver slides under the tag.
I'm sure some geek that wrote that code thought it was really cool believable animation. - We've got to let this new guy win, but have to make it look legit. The new guy can't hit a pitch to save his soul so we got to code in some really cool (foolish) animation to make it look like he wins this game realistically. Let's just code in this exciting steal of home (don't even worry that the new guy is so bad he botches it)..we'll fix it with even more "really cool" code.
But, it's not boys. Not cool..not exciting. It's very frustrating and it's the sort of BS that makes folks quit buying your product. This game was a B-day gift for me. I will never buy it myself. And will announce to the fam not to ever give me such a frustrating gift (i.e. piece of dung) again.

Topps now will make peoples teams this year instead of inventory lol. I will try to start Bichette over Didi and for sure add Yordan to the bench

It's not a fair comparison
The cards used in the POTM programs for the first 4 months were cards from years past and they used the lighting guys who have where not already schedule to get a better card. So in the case of 3 lightning SS yes it odd but no way SDS could have planned back in April and May that when the season started Tatis was going to go next level
