Any time I've had someone bunt against the shift, they've gotten out.

I've debated turning off the shift but keep it on because I find it helps me with XBH more than hits I give up when pitching. Take the good with the bad.

Most people don’t intentionally use the shifts in this game. The game defaults to on which is asinine. And most don’t realize it can be turned off. It’s not necessary to act like a troll just because you think you’re better than everyone else.
Umm I gave my opinion on a forum thread. And if people haven’t taken the time to go through settings to see what their options are then yes, In my opinion they are idiots...Lazy idiots. Every negative comment isn’t a troll bro. But you go on calling people trolls if it makes you feel better.

Well viewing your universal profile you might want to take your own tonic as you can probably use some practice yourself. Your stats wouldn’t scare my five year old and I would give him a better than average shot at beating you h2h.

I have NEVER said I was a great player. Go ahead and look through all my post history, You won’t find a single one where I state I am a great player. I go back and forth between 40-50 games over .500 & if I play enough I usually make CS. I consider myself a very average player. But imo an average or below average or even awful player should be able to explore their settings lol

And that is sad. If people are big enough fans of baseball to pay $60 for the game yet don’t know what the shift is - That is extremely sad....And the same goes for people that don’t bother taking 5 minutes to go through the game’s settings & options - That is lazy & sad....I love how you’re saying MY assessment is flawed because you think it’s too much to expect people to look at the settings ONE time for 5 minutes. Yes it is laziness I do not care to change it unless I am pitching a certain way to need to change it.

Agree 100%. I have no problem with people bunting against the shift with a player that should be putting it over the wall.

Hey boys lets all get along... I know what everyone is trying to say here and appreciate the feedback! Seems that the shift vs Belli is always on and from my recollection, he’s the only guy I have on my teams that always faces it.
Ive been rolling with Belli in CF, Larry and Reggie in the corner outfield spots. None of those guys face the shifts (obviously Belli’s a guy that you home to go bombs away with) but With a shift always, doesnt make sense for me to keep in lineup when others dont face shift like him. Ill be getting Bryce soon so he’ll move to the bench soon anyway.

Nope, You’re wrong yet again. Go back & read his post & mine again. He was talking about possibly bunting with Beli against the shift & I said it’s absolutely fine to abuse people that are dumb enough to use the shift. I made no nasty comment to the OP nor do I have any ill feelings towards him for what he said....Anything else there champ?

I like to keep the infield shift on and make my outfield play straight away. Prevents those stupid little doubles on squibers to the non-shift side.
