Newhouser and Kluber are locks for me. Hendricks is good. New Sonny Gray sux and I was not good with Greinke. I want to try that Maddux out bad though
-
Maddux has been good for me save for 1 outing when he got shelled despite me hitting all the spots (which is the benefit of Maddux as you can locate like crazy). His stuff is slow so there is risk, but suspect the guy I was playing just had a 1ms monitor as it was crazy the pitches he was squaring up.

I've been mixed with Maddux, he's back in the rotation, but my ERA is around 5.21 with him... I guess more about learning how to mix his pitches.. I think for my level under WS, just under CS, Sale will be decent for at least 5 to 6 innings, and i'm sure people will get the hang of him..

Awards Kluber is my only lock. Rest of the rotation I'm always shuffling. Current mix today is:
- Awards Kluber
- POTM Paxton
- Sig Hal Newhouser
- Awards Grienke
- Topps Bieber

I have had decent success with the new Noah Syndergaard. Also I will always recommend Roy Oswalt and Spencer Howard. Those three are in my rotation along with Wood and Greinke and sometimes Kluber
I had Noah for awhile, he got hit pretty hard... but I had better success with him vs. Seaver.. I find Oswalt was great early in the game, now he gets hit pretty hard for me.. How are you with Wood? What level are you playing at?
All Star 500-690 range. For me Oswalt is still pretty good. Wood is good too. I'm 20 or so games under .500, but with the 5 guys I listed, I'm about 25 games over .500

I think that Mize is, on paper, the best starter out right now. That said, he’s statistically my worst starter (in only 44 innings). Maddux is an option, although I find him fairly easy to square up. I wouldn’t go for Sale, good players will hit him well. Side note: what RS rating do you play around? Makes a big difference when picking a pitcher. Other options include the 97 Sonny Gray and Dustin May. Haven’t used either extensively but they look good. 96 Felix was good for me.
I have maddux, going up rs he can get rocked, I may not be mixing his pitches well enough.. Mize is around 500k, that's pretty steep, I can afford but a lot for 1 pitcher... Who else is in your rotation? I've tried everyone except the super expensive starters in the market.. Feller, mize, sale.. Dustin may could be an option to try..
My rotation is: Mize, Kluber, Orel, Maddux, Paxton

Get PL Blake Snell.

I have had my @$$ handed to me a few times by guys using Seaver... I can't hit him at all.

Jim Palmer is sneaky good.

Personally, I like him better than Orel... in All Star starts where everyone tends to get roughed up a bit (I think I have 1 HOF start with him), he's 14-1 with a 3.43 ERA and 138Ks in 134 innings. I imagine someone skillful would do even better things...

I have both and I agree. He has a great release. I picked him up just because my starters were all lower on stamina and figured I'd just use him once but he performed so well I just kept giving him more starts and now he and Prestige Paxton are my two go-to guys.

Interesting, I'll try him out tonight.. Never thought to try him..
