Shortstop Advice
-
I have 96 Carter Kieboom right now. I’m just looking for a better option if I was to sell him I could get Jimmy Rollins which I would love because he is a true five tool player! But my question is is there maybe another Shortstop y’all would recommend that may be cheaper OR should I try to save some more stubs and try to get Ernie Banks? Has anyone had both and could share their experiences with them. I’m leaning toward Rollins but I am open to any suggestions.

Ripken is going for about 50k right now and although small sample size he's hit very well for me which is suprising because i don't normally love his cards and his fielding of course has been great as well. He would be cheaper then Banks.
It all comes down to prefrence though and Banks rakes this year. I was planing on getting him back until i pulled Ripken from the conquest map.

Not sure how you feel about CAPs, but I’ve seen many around here say they are one of the best SS’s in the game. I moved mine from 1B to SS after I got Ruth, and he’s been great so far.

Rollins. You won't regret it....

I love Rollins, his defense has already saved a bunch of runs and he has even hit a couple walkoffs in the Ruth HOF and an Events game.

Jazz Chisholm, but Rollins is class. The ability to switch hit and play that kind of defense is huge.

Rollins is great but I’m liking the POTM Correa card a lot

Trevor Story

Didi is very good.

It really is all personal preference as you can see by the wide array of answers. I personally am saving up for Rollins because I want him at the top of the lineup with Biggio and Mantle coming in behind him. I use Cal there right now and do not hit well with him but his defense has been stellar. The best way for you to know what you want is to use the players in BR or homerun derby if you can and see how you like their swings.

Rollins...well worth it, only all around short stop we might get that could be better is honus.

I'm looking for a SS.. Had my cap there but moved the cap to c... Rollins is hitting. 205 for me, wasn't much better with banks... I had chipper there but worried about his d there...

I just got him and already I can tell a huge difference between him and Kieboom (who I had previously). Much smoother swing elite speed and him being a switch hitter is such an added plus!!

Don’t sleep on Yount. Try his swing.
