Was there something controversial about him? I'm honestly asking this time.

Nothing that I remember. There were whispers of PEDs as his HR totals exploded in the McGwire-Sosa era.
Other than that nothing...Heck of a player -

Billy Ripken's "F--- Face" Topps card. If they blurred out the "F--- Face" sharpie text that was written on the knob of his bat, it could be appropriate.
Topps didn't make that card, Fleer did. So SDS would have to get the rights to use it from Upper Deck (they bought Fleer years ago), and get clearance from Topps and MLB.

Just had another idea... A ritual!! How about a diamond level ritual called "Bang! Bang!" The item in question would be a trashcan, and it would increase your contact and power by 7 or so.
I'm stumped with coming up with a description, though
