I love showdown have gotten pretty good at them. The 7th inning one was pretty enjoyable plus the packs were a nice bonus as I pulled golds in all but 1 pack

Seriously suck donkey balls that have been sitting out in the sun all day. They are depressingly hard and I have yet to beat a single one, not a one. Nothing in this game compares to how crappy these are. Sorry had to get that out before I slam dunked my controller on the concrete
Git gud

I haven't played a showdown since the second inning. Try it. It prevents the aggravation.

I detest showdown.
But the 2nd inning showdown was the only one I have not beaten (from the innings programs). I swear that showdown was on PEDs. I can't tell you how many times I tried and failed to beat it.I might skip this showdown if I can. I will just need another player program or two and to do some of the online stuff.
-
I hate them. I do them strictly because its 70 stars I can use to make an extra 100k profit selling the bosses earlier. But I wouldn't do them otherwise.
I haven't done the 1st or 2nd inning ones because the rewards for doing them just weren't there. Now at least you can sell a boss and buy it back a week later for under half.
-
I enjoyed this one the most, and it got me 300K stubs in my pocket (sold Harper).
-
This showdown sucks

Agree this showdown is too difficult and not fun at all.
-
I don't mind the difficulty. It's the extreme randomness of when you can get a hit or HR. These are Rookie and Veteran, for one thing, and the EV (at least for me) are simply awful. I have had quite a few good/good with Harper, an IE Kepler and TN Yaz hit fastballs of 102 with good placement and timing and am getting an EV of 85 - 89. That's around a 15 mph difference and is honestly unacceptable. Here and there? - whatever. Consistently? No.
Forget getting a hit as that doesn't always happen. But when I do what I'm supposed to do and the ball is being caught some 30 to 50 feet short of the track, that's not fun. It's not even exciting. I've done all the other Inning Showdowns and get through them in 1st or 2nd attempt, if I'm patient. Maybe it's just not my day.
I personally despise Moments with a passion. I wholeheartedly loathe them. I have exchanged for all TAs as I want no part of the incredible randomness they present while telling you "Hey, this is Rookie".
-
Showdown is the foulest evil, the 2nd stage TA one was the most bearable. All of the others ones were awful. I got this one the 2nd try but it's not worth the aggravation, 3-4 diving catches cost me points the first go. One scrub OF climbed the wall and snatched a HR

I honestly cant remember the last time I lost one of these. I always stack left handed hitters, and try to get any/all of the exit velocity perks.
That Harper card raked for me in this Showdown. I may have to try him out when I get to the 300 stars.

The actual showdowns arent the problem, it's the build ups for points. I got to Johnson at 12-15 and beat him with 11 outs left. 2nd run. The RNG was frequent on my first run. His heater is sneaky but his release is so slow and non chalant after the wind up

I tried the showdown.
careless mistakes left me going into the final 9-15.
Lost 13-15.
Big Train's weird delivery threw me for a loop. Too many times I would give up on a pitch for it to catch the bottom of the zone. something about his delivery made it hard to judge his pitches.
It seemed like his pitches were "flat" for lack of a better phrase.
I need to go into the final no worse than 12-15 or 13-15. -

They had some extra giddy up on them as well.
Then he would drop that off speed pitch that catches the bottom edge.
I need to be more patient next time, too many strike outs as well. I think he got me for 8 k's and 2 back breaking double plays -
This showdown to me has been the least frustrating out of all the inning showdowns. I just beat it for the 2nd time just to get some packs, couple thousand stubs, 5 show packs, 3 BiH, and 1 gold player pack not bad for about 45-50 mins
-
I posted a chat called "Showdown Sucks" during the 2nd inning. I agree they are hard, and I hate working for 2 hours to not win and to have to start all over again, and I hate the randomness of some of the outcomes... But I've started to warm up them. I've completed a few, but not all. I really want the 70 DD points, but some of the rewards on the way have not been bad. And those sub-rewards are repeatable.
-
They aren't as bad as some people think they are. I used to think i hated them. But i went at them for about a week straight once i got to prestige level and now they feel so easy at times. I have beaten it from down 15 more times than i can count now and at the beginning until about inning 5 i couldnt handle them to save my life and was probably crying about it on here....
That's all. -
Walter Johnson is so awkward to face. His delivery makes it look like the pitch should come in at 88 and suddenly it is dotted in on the corner at 102.
-
Wow lol...interesting.
