Walter, bad motion negates a lot of value to card
Harper is overshadowed by walker. Only people that will use him is philly fans and the few who struggle with walker
Thomas is a platoon bat with Ruth at 1b, or Thames, or Musial, or Ortiz.
Why another first baseman... Yes Ruth and Musial are outfielders but no one is really gonna use either in the outfield

They said that Walker is better. They said that their job is to put out good cards, and you get to choose which cards to put on your team. It may be a hard choice.

I'm putting Ruth in LF, with MVP Trout in CF, Mantle in RF. 1B is going to be Gehrig at some point, so that's the best spot for the Babe.

I completely agree with that concept because people play differently with different players. So I think all the options is great by SDS, but this feels like the first no real impact program bosses. Thomas is the only one I think that provides value but that’s only as a platoon and bench bat, and with mostly righty starters in the game, most probably won’t start him. Bart is probably the most impactful reveal

You guys act like every second of your lives are so valuable that you couldn’t possibly use Walter Johnson. His windup is literally 2 seconds longer than other SPs. Even if he throws 40-50 pitches per game out of the windup, you’re talking about like a minute and a half longer. None of your lives are nearly interesting enough for you to whine as hard as you do about his windup.

I mean you can’t expect too much though. Griffey, Piazza, Alomar, Verlander, Pujols, Bench, Ted, Billy Wagner, and Goose were all inning bosses last year. Jimmie Foxx, Kershaw, Honus, and Kenley/Eck are the only 4-5 really desirable cards that have much of a chance at an inning boss spot IMo
