Base stealing Glitch

Hi all:

Just a quick question. I’m having problems when trying to throw to the bases when the runner steals, the reaction to the meter seems to be appearing way too late. Is this a glitch, or can something be done?

I've had the same issue before when I see someone leading off big time. I've seen suggestions to step off and then throw rather than just trying to pick off.

I think he's talking about the reaction time of the throw meter for the catcher to throw out the base runner trying to steal, and not trying to pick someone off that you're talking about.

Hit the throw button before the catcher catches the ball. Right after you see your middle infielders breaking for the bag.
