Frank the Tank is probably the best guess. Fan favorite from last year I would like to see a more affordable Jimmy Foxx earlier than he was last year.
I wouldn’t call Frank a “fan favorite” tbh. While he was the most used 1B last year it was mostly due to the fact that people flat out refused to use anyone else because Frank was free. Same goes for didi this year
Didi isn’t even on my bench. Frank was def a fan favorite because of hit hitting and even with no defense at all he was a glitch at first
I mean there were all kinds of “why use Gehrig or Pujols when I have Frank” posts last year. Gehrig and Pujols were both Miles better than Frank and no one even bothered using anyone but Frank lmao
In theory Thames plays this same role this year.
Not even close, you could get Frank after playing 40 hours last year, Thames takes at least 400 hours...

There isn't many viable RH first basemen so someone like Frank Thomas or Albert Pujols would make a lot of sense.
