Has pop in his bat, speed on the bases and a pretty decent fielder. Can't go wrong brother!!

I think it's worth it. He is my leadoff guy and has good versatility. Use the drag/push bunt for hits during the moments. Once I figured this out, they went by pretty quick.

I couldn’t hit well with him last year but he rakes this year. Some of those missions — especially 3 triples in conquest and 2XBH + SB — still give me nightmares, but he was worth the grind.
Carew will probably always be my preferred 2B, and I usually like more power at 1B than Jackie can provide. But I’ve tried out some speed demon theme teams in the Ruth grind, and having Jackie, Carew, Brock, Mantle, and Biggio bat 1-2-3-4-5 is sick. I just put in a buy order for 99 Luis Robert and I bet he’ll squeeze in nicely between Mick and Biggio.

The rewards alone are worth it. Plus I love the way he's performed for me. Between him, Sandberg and Carew at 2nd base, he's been my most consistent hitter. Not to mention you can play him at 4 different positions.
-
At worst you have a guy off the bench that can run, hit well and can play all over the diamond.
-
99 Jackie is the best 2nd basemen in the game.
-
I waited a while to get this card and I regret it. He's a great lead-off hitter. Can stretch singles into doubles. Steals 2nd and sometimes 3rd. And while he doesn't hit many homers, he has good pop and hits gappers for triples.

No question the 99 is worth it for some lineups. Also, rewards along the way are second only to the Babe program.

Dude is amazing, carried me from the leadoff spot in the Ruth program HOF games... dude somehow was one of my best power hitters in a lineup where he has the 2nd least amount of power.
