Got 65K stubs and I want to pick up the new Posada (Signature Series). Should I ....
- Buy Beach Ball pack (40K).
- Buy Posada in the market today (24K).
- Wait till after stub sale & Buy Posada then.

Exactly, just buy him without losing 40k. At this point I’m just buying the folks I want without pack purchases.

That’s what I was leaning towards, but everyone says that card prices go down after stub sales. If I bought the Beach Ball pack, I could maybe come up on a high tier player or overpay 16K for Posada.

Well I think buy the time they release more beach ball packs you can definitely make up the 10k loss in stubs

Buy before the packs are gone. The price will only go up in the short term. If packs drop again for cheaper in a month, having him in your lineup that entire time will already be worth the premium of a few k in stubs. Buying a pack for 40k could be a waste of 17k. He isn't going to drop 17k in price anytime soon

So I bought Posada (23K), but I couldn’t resist and also bought the Beach Ball pack. I got the base round, sold Gagne and finally made back the price diff by flipping cards in the market. Should I try my luck again and buy another Beach Ball pack?

I mean I never buy packs, but I ended up buying Ryan, Robert,Gagne, and Lofton all off the market. If you do, and get base round again, you can't go wrong with either Gagne or Lofton. Personally id pick Gagne first. His cy young card is absolutely nasty.

Exactly why are you asking? Everyone told you just to buy the card and you did but bought the pack anyway.

Lol I would not normally recommend it but 15k can be made back. Go get that Hornsby.

Good point, but some posts said buy him and other posts said buy the pack. I guess my curiosity got the best of me and I did both. I’m simply trying to get all the different points of view and see if one choice makes sense over the other.
