I heard that Christian Yelich is in a hitting slump right now, aside from the inside-the-park HR he hit against the White Sox the other not.
Yoenis Cespedes opted out of the season, abruptly.
And the Tigers have lit up the Pirates for the past two games in an offensive explosion, with 4 HRs in the FIRST INNING yesterday. Unfortunately Pirates infielder Phillip Evans collided with Polanco while running after a foul fly ball, and the former had to be carted off the field. EDIT: And I just read that Evans will miss the rest of the season.
