Why is Albies a fee agent in the game?
-
He is just injured IRL and for some reason marked as a free agent in the game
-
Because he's on the IL which means he's not on the active 40 man.

They didn’t do this to most guys.

I was told that they'll take players that are in the IL and put them in FA so there's room for new players that are getting cards. This way the team collextion always stays at 40.b
However, no clue what happens when a player is no longer injured.
Looks like they did that with Cespedes who opted out; however Joe Ross and Ryan Zimmerman are still in the Nats collection. So who knows what SDS is doing.

Put sale there he sucks anyway

Gotta make room for the commons they're adding, so you gotta buy them to finish a team.

IL doesn’t remove them from the 40 man roster. This was a screw up. Felix Hernandez hasn’t played a game all year, opted out, isn’t on the 40 man roster, but his card is still on the Braves 40 man.
