Rollins, switch hitting s.s. will last longer than a bad fielding of'er or secondary 1b man with the big guns left at 1st still.

They are both great offensively for me. If I had to pick one, I'd go with Rollins. Diamond D at the most important IF position outweighs a great hitting OF with terrible defense (Yes, I know he can play 1st base)

Musial and ss cap is the move. Your ss cap can be outfitted to be around 109 overall. He is the second best card next to mantle. Musial rakes and is the best 1b available as of now. Worst case scenario he us a bench bat for the duration of the game.

Musal is a bench guy for me so I don't have to worry about his defense (Larry's great in rf) and Rollins plays up to his stats at ss. I still think potm Didi hits harder but he can clear the wall with ease and is an asset not a liability in the field. The fact he switch hits and can run the bases kind of seals the deal for me.

I'm a speed and switch hitter fiend.

I have both, Jimmy all day.

Rollins is great. Ticks all the boxes. Has pop too. Musial seemed too one dimensional.

Thanks all, this input is much appreciated! I'm at 298 stars now so will pick up one of them tonight and give it a test drive.

rollin's defense makes him elite. He is a really good hitter but you don't have to worry about a thing from your ss with him there. I would get rollins and buy musial. Both should be on your team imo

Both are great. Take one and buy the other. Rollins has more pop than his ratings suggest, and I’m hitting around .350 with Stan online ( and I’m not a great hitter )

man im at 294 and am also going back and forth on who to pick. But being my first year playing DD, i noticed defense definitely matters and can lose you a game quick. I have Ripken at short and he botched a few plays already for me in just a few games. My outfield is HRD Judge(love this card), Cutch, and Belli, and have Bagwell at 1st. pretty sure Rollins HAS to be the move. The defense and speed alone. I mean singles are automatic doubles with his stealing

I'm glad I found this thread, I too already bought Maddux, am coming up on 260 stars and was wondering who the better choice was. I have Bagwell at first, and he is doing good for me. Michael Young is my current SS, but I have HRD Ripken, Larkin, Didi, Correa, just not a fan of any of them.

Looks like I'll be taking Jimmy. Close to finishing the Phillips program, just need to beat the Reds on AS, and get 7 more hits online with 2B. That will put me at about 280, and I forget what the mission is with Phillips online for the other 20 stars.

Rollins has been underwhelming for me so far but he’s locked in so I’m in it for the long haul.

I was going to go with Musial but after locking in Phillips yesterday and finishing the awards collection I might go with Rollins for my speed team.
