The Cubs are back in town! 8-2 with a 4 game winning streak. Yes, we have faced some easy teams, but hey, its still momentum!
I told you they would bounce back. Great start just have to keep winning.
How about them first place Marlins though huh. 2-1 and in first place lol.

Honestly don't see how it is. If anything to me, avoiding the virus and winning the title shows an even greater amount of achievement.

Make Jefferees our closer, Weick our set up and let Kimbrel get some confidence in low stress situations we're set. Maybe Kimbrel can get back into form but for now, no way he should be closing

I hate to side with a Cardinal fan over a Cub fan but he's right. It is a joke of season. I'll say the same thing if my favorite team (The Cubs) wins or if my least favorite team (The Dodgers) wins. It's not a real championship regardless of who wins. It's too bad because now that all the other teams like the Dodgers, Yankees, Astros, Red Sox and Brewers can't steal signs anymore the Cubs are back on top where they belong. Getting rid of that goofy Joe Maddon helps too.

As a cub fan I'm going to give you a reality check.
The Cubs starting pitching has been great to start this shortened season. With the exception of one bad outing each from Darvish and Hendricks I could say near flawless. The hitting is coming around with many new faces as well as some familiar ones coming through when hits are needed.
The major problem you might be overlooking is the bullpen.
Kimbrel is not the closer he once was and while I will commend David Ross for giving him opportunities there has to be a limit to how many he will get before the plug gets pulled.
Middle relief is a bit shaky at times but manageable. If Ross can let the Kimbrel experiment die and insert Jefferess in at Closer and find the right parts to set him up when needed they could win not only their division but possibly the NL.
