Orel will always have the best sinker/curveball in the game because of his delivery. Those pitches look the same out of his hand.
OK, I have almost the exact same stats with both, but more K's with Maddux due to his insane ability to dot corners with breaking balls that are out of the zone until the very last second.
Trust me I’m not bad mouthing Maddux, I just think Orel’s sinker could have 50 break and still
“move” more than some other pitchers with 99 break. He release is definitely deceptive. -

Orel is Great and Wood’s Slurve is disgusting. It haunts me. I hate it worse then an outside cutter that BARELY hits the zone. Can’t really lose with any of the Stage 3 pitchers. Except Catfish.
I am yet to see Catfish in 60+ events games. I almost want to get him for that reason alone, nobody will really have him sized up. I honestly forget he’s even a TA3 player

I've faced him once. He has a decent pitch mix and probably for that reason I struggled a little. Im curious too and thought about trying him. I ended up winning against the bullpen, but he was decent to me even though it was only 1 game....

Maddux doesn't have the movement Orel does but he can hit any spot you want him to consistently. To get your ks you need to be creative with both though.
