100k away from mantle

Got to 300 last night and sold my inning pack to get trout. One card left to get and it’s verlander. Only have 35k left, he goes for 130-140k. Should I sell off cards like felix, grienke, my saved up prospect diamonds etc etc and then buy them back later? If I do that my starting 5 pitching staff will be pretty bad.

Depends on how many programs you have to do. Before I sell off everything, I’d check to see how many programs/collections you’re close to finishing (or that you have completed) and see if you get some cash flow that way.
I say that bc you rack up tons of stubs without a lot of effort sometimes.

I’m maybe 1/3 the way towards trout. I still have 28/30 stage 3 TAs to do. So there’s still quite a bit to grind for

Same here but 80k! I got Springered last night and would have Mantle now if that was Trout lol

I would sell and get Mantle now. Those extra cards you have are very high right now because of the trout set. You can sell now and buy back later for even lower and get the xp and stubs from doing Mantle.

Probably the best voice of reason. Another flash sale is bound to happen down the road.
They may even do one to celebrate Joe West getting bloodied up by Bo Bichette’s bat

I’m only missing Trout & Verlander, but I have a 5-pack Ballin Bundle coming, after complete only 1 more moment in TA (1-3) moments. If I get something good, I might sell Schmidt FOF or Killebrew FOF to complete LS.

You don't need stage 3 for trout. Just 30 of the non sellable fotf cards from stage 1

I got Mantle when the new Trout came out. I had 190K and after I began collecting Vouchers for Trout that took me to 220K and made a few stubs by flipping and ended up finishing off the LS.
I got lucky too when the LS prices dropped on guys like Cole, Velander, etc. -

You’re probably right, but a guy can dream right? Lol. I just gotta go in & strikeout 10 batters with Bob Gibson, so I’ll find out tonight.

Sold felix and grienke, sold 2 of the inflated prospects and my order for verlander went through. mantle Sheffield and Biggio added to the squad . Just made it to 35 event wins and got Upton too. Currently back up to 47k. Gonna try and get to 50 event wins then work on TAs to get some better pitching. May grind a SS cap to replace to correa
