Prestige?

Are there any players that you can Prestige without online play?
-
Technically the 5 XP 99 players, Sandberg, Reggie etc, but getting all of them would require you to get to 95 prestige level

I’m at Diamond Level 45, so I have a ways to go. I just skipped by the Prestige section when going over the Trout Collection details, so I might have to check it out tonight.

Yes, that is why Trout will only be attainable for online players! Offline players will find it hard to get to prestige 95! It will take so long that by the time most reach it, 99 Trout my be insignificant!
The game definitely favours online players!

It's not a required collection.

I wouldn’t mind spending some cash to play online, but everyone on here always talks about how horrible other online players be acting.

Honestly just turn messages off and start with events online isnt that bad. Just go into the events and dont worry about wins or losses because it doesnt change anything and entrance is free. Especially now you can just run a full lineup of prestige and any run you get adds to somebody.
I have like 20 prestiges at this point some dont even make my team.

I would like to play online but where i am in a more remote area, my internet doesn't do well with online gaming!
With the horrible connection it's just not enjoyable!

So they should cater the game towards you?

"That answer is false."
Prestige is only 1 of 15 options. And even then, it's STILL attainable (although very time consuming) via Prestige XP path for the offliners.

1 of 18 options. Children just whine about stuff they don't want to earn.

Not sure how you come to that conclusion. You get far more big XP chunks doing offline things like moments and showdowns than you do with the online grind. In the amount of time it takes to play an events game or RS game I can get 8-10k XP just doing showdown mode
-
I would argue you obtain XP far faster offline than those who spend more time online. I've played guys with low XP whose records show 100s of online games (and that's just Ranked), likely because they hardly play offline.

You’re absolutely correct. There is far more opportunity for XP offline than online.

As a mostly-offliner, I can conclusively say ... it should!
SDS has a financial incentive to promote online play as it leads to increased subscriptions to PS+ and a larger bottom line.
That they still cater to the offline crowd as much as they do is actually a huge mark in their favor.

I just stumbled across this site called “CD Keys” and the 12-month PS Plus subscription is only $32. That’s not bad.
