Anyone else just sell and not get trout

I wasn't preparing for the collection because I knew I didn't have the stubs for it, but I just made about 500K selling off cards I never use anyway, and then in my best pull of the year I just got Arenado in a random live series silver pack. I may go for Sheffield now.

So, instead i collected all of my non sell cards and got 8 BIAH packs. Then, I sold every card that could eventually be gotten from a pack. So, I didn’t sell any event rewards or inning rewards. I didn’t sell any of the do cards either.
By the time I was done, I went from around 50k to over a million stubs. Then I pulled TROUT from one of the BIAH packs.
Anyone else go with this strategy?

I know exactly what you mean. I’ve been saving to get the big collection. I now have over a million stubs. If I wait about a month, I’m sure I’ll be able to get this trout without having to spend hardly any of this.

Started the day with 350k. I sold A LOT of cards I had invested in (wish I went with intuition and bought more PS cards) & got trout along the way. Ended up making over a million stubs in the process. Also went on a spending spree and bought Kris Bryant, Sutton, JD, Carlson, 3rd HRD cards needed for Griffey, Rollins, probably others I’m not remembering. Also bought any equipment I didn’t have for CAP catcher. Crazy day and I feel accomplished. Still have over a mil stubs to burn. Prolly just play ranked periodically and give up the heavy grind.

Started today with 25k, got trout, went up 4 levels of prestige, sold the rest and now have 866k, im not disappointed

Started today at 1800 stubs and now 450k not a bad day at all

I suspect we will see some new packs soon there is way to many stubs flying around SDS will want to see those stubs spent

I went from 900K last week to 3.2M after today, Have Trout and every top card worth having In the game. Feel good about finishing all the cards to come without A worry

Looks like everyone made a ton of stubs. I started out with 1.1 Million and ended up with 1.2
Didn't sell anything off as I'm a bit of a card hoarder (because just in case) and I like to keep one of every card even if i never use it.
I also have a hunch there will be another collection of sorts. Probably wrong but better safe than sorry.

Sitting at 1.5 mil here. I think the market is going to be inflated. We need another Ducks pack soon with some new cards.

So many people have so many stubs now. I wonder how the market will be the next week or so. Market prices might remain high for a while.

Didn't sell necessarily, but I bought cards I've wanted for a while last night. No where near collections done, don't even have live series done so I thought WTH I'll just buy the guys I want. Bought Ellsbury, Robert's, Britton, Kemp, and Grienke last night. Sold extra cards, and my Topps now cards, and flipped some and bought the Sutton headliner card + Spencer Howard FS today. Have about 5k left.. I'm happy. Can't wait to try them all out! Next up getting to 300 stars so I can take Rollins (Phillies fan lol)!!!

Went from 1 something to 360k but I still kept a few. Was going to keep mathewson but at 50 k....a 40k profit I pulled the trigger so fast on him. Just waiting to spend on ebd game cards.....come on niekro....even though that ain't EVER happening

I'm going to have Trout still, but I had a bunch of extras that I made crazy stubs off of. I went from around 50k to 1,150,000.. insane. I've never had over 1,000,000 stubs in any previous mlb the show game.

Yep... sold every no sell i had for the most part. I can wait on trout, sure as heck don't need him right this minute. My collection is about 75 percent done to get him with just the no sells i have. Let the dust settle, then buy back the cards you need. Great time to sell. Btw... i was at 2k this morning and now sitting on a pretty 1.5M. As Ice Cube would say.... today was a good day.

On this topic of selling and not going for Trout right now...
What's to expect on prices for cards like Dozier and Betances Prime? Inventory will get locked up once they're collected. Will they ever go down if supply is limited? They're selling at pretty attractive prices, if I felt good that I could buy them back in a month at half the cost, I think I'm ready to pull the trigger. -
I went from 20k to finally buying ls trout. May not seem like a huge deal, but I'm glad that I'm on my way to completing the live series collection

I have 11 prestige cards and messed up bad and didnt even use that voucher to get trout... Don't ask. If I didn't lock in the awards that would have been 200k more on top of the 600k i made selling the extra. I messed up. This is all i want to talk about it. Lol
I didn't even realize this monumental eff up till today.
