Team Affinity

Are we fairly confident that we wont need these stage 3 team affinity rewards for stage 4? I can see a lot of people dumping some cards for stubs ( if they aren't a part of the collection, I haven't paid that close of attention)
But why else make these cards purchasable / sell-able if no other reason is so you have to collect them ?
Any ideas ?

I have locked it all the TA 3 cards. I just have a feeling it'll come back to bite me in the a* later if I sell them off.
