The only way Ruth is worth all those stubs is if he can also pitch and has elite stuff , then his [censored] fielding dosent matter and his speed becomes more acceptable. OF secondary but need an option to be able to play him when he’s not pitching and not waste a sub, as is the case now like we saw w ohtani

I’m still thinking maris prime or dimagio. Hank Aaron maybe , could be the Griffey card as he was a boss last year. Could be mays but you would think elite middle infielder as those are hard to come by.

A juiced up jeter ? Too big of a name?

Idk honestly but it’s going to have to be pretty insane to lock all these cards in. 5 tool rare position like honus last year. Or a two way Ruth who can deal 125 stamina 125 k and h /9 and 125 across the board hitting

The collection drops on the 28th and the first hint was "The Chase For..." which could refer to the Chase for 28. Only one team is chasing 28 right now, which is the Yankees. This leads me to believe its a Yankee. Mantle's clearly been taken, which could lead you to Ruth or Gehrig, who are already in the game, or maybe Maris, who hasn't been revealed. None of them are great fielders or runners, which means they could be easily replaced. A five-tool player makes the most sense. DiMaggio fits this bill perfectly, and Jeter less so but still plausible. The late clue was "BIG". Many have interpreted this as referring to size and I agree. Who is a big Yankees player who can do a little bit of everything? 2017 Rookie of the Year, Silver Slugger, Big Aaron Judge

Th only "Big" players I can think of are:
    Frank Thomas
    Randy Johnson
    Don Drysdale
    Walter Johnson
    Andres Galaraga
    Mark McGwire

McGwire and Johnson are the only ones that will move the needle

    Manny Ramirez

Or more controversial Pete Rose, just think though a chance to use one of the greatest hitters and speed threats , plus it would catch a lot of people off by suprise.

I’ve been researching this topic for the last few days and cross referencing home runs batting averages stolen bases and fielding pct, my verdict is that it’s not a new legend sorry to say. It’s going to be Willy Mays... look with a career 660 home runs and an average of 36-37 home runs yearly, career batting average of .302 WaR of 156.2 3283 hits 1903 RBIs and 338 stolen bases where he had seasons of 40+ I think it’s going to be Willy mays
